There's no such thing as TMI on here I don't think. Hoping for good news for you Freddie.

My AF is due today, but I've had a couple of long cycles this year, and I'm not feeling anything to suggest it's on it's way (usually get really light dull cramps). We've only BDd once without contraception and that was after I'd supposedly ovulated (Glow said 2.8% chance). Would really be a Christmas miracle!

Hi all I'd quite like to rejoin this group. I was on here in 2012/13 when it took 10 cycles to conceive my daughter. We're now trying for number 2 and I'm finding it harder this time that it's not happened straight away. I guess I thought with all I'd learnt and the fact my body now knows what to do that it would happen straight away. However I'm now on cycle four of trying and ive renewed my ff membership and just started temping and using my CBFM again (is it just me or are the sticks for the original machine now more expensive?).

I really wanted it to happen straight away as im being made redundant late in 2016 due to my function be relocated elsewhere and being pregnant or having a newborn makes you unemployable, and considering I'm the main earner I'm feeling the pressure to minimise the amount of time I'm unemployed and not bringing in a salary. So every month's delay is costing our family a month's salary which is probably another pressure I don't need.

I hope everyone is having a good Christmas.

Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

Welcome Kynthia, fx that it's good news Freddie. Cats, I second what Toria said, I have uat & it's very easily treated with meds. It can play havoc with your hormones & cycle, so def worth keeping an eye on. I've blood test booked for Wed to check mine, cycles have been a bit all over the place, but then again, after 14 years on the pill it's not really a surprise :(

CD18 here, we've been staying with family since Wed so been difficult to bd, although we managed a few quickies today & Saturday ;)
  • Hello, I am new to this and wondering if I can join this group? I have been TTC since 03/14.
  • Welcome to the new members, hope your visit is short.

    Fingers crossed Freddie.

Nothing to report here, we are off work so more relaxed at the moment, trying not to track this month.

Thank you for the welcome angel11 and ThinkPink.

Toriaterrier is your luteal phase consistent each month as my cycle used to vary between 28 and 32 days but my luteal phase was always about 11 days? So if I knew when I ovulated then I knew when to expect AF.

Hi Bradders89, you've been ttc for quite a while. Do you track your cycle, use OPKs, or anything?

    Good luck to those testing.

    Welcome to the newbies :)

Kynthia, I haven't got the foggiest! I've tried using opk's but I didn't get a postive. Though, due to SS I have a general idea most months. I've just looked on my app and one month I noted that I had EWCM on 19th and AF arrived 1st. It was a 31 day month. I don't think you count the day I got the EWCM so the LP would have been 12 days? It looks that way on another month too. If my maths is correct I am 3 days late now and still getting BFN's. I had what may have been implantation pain 8 days ago. I'm planning to test again Thursday or Friday.

Sorry if I'm asking questions about things you've already shared on here but do you temp ad that's usually more precise than ewcm ending? If you've been trying for a while and not getting positive OPKs have you considered asking your GP for a 21 day blood test to check you are ovulating? Fingers crossed for a bfp on Thursday/Friday.

Hi all. I've lurked on the periphery for ages! Been TTC couple of years and I've recently had blood tests which came back fine. OH went for sperm analysis today. All I can say is NHS total farce. They've messed him about with appointments then wouldn't take sample today as no one to analyse it! Such a stressful situation and another 4 weeks until another appointment. Thinking of going private already!

Oops just realised their is the 12 month plus board. Could someone move my post please? Thank you.
  • Wishing you all the best of luck for 2016, hopefully we will all have squishy cuddles or at least lovely bumps this time next year.

    Any further update Freddie?
