It is SO quiet on here - Couldn't be in stark contrast to my first time on here! So good and bad points about finding out you are not/are pregnant next cycle please?

I am: I can tell all our family when we go back and visit at Christmas as a surprise.
I'm not: I can drink lots and party with our family/friends at Christmas and we have a month off over Christmas, less organisational, less financial stress.

Anybody else want to have a go?

If I am I'll be over the moon for financial reasons, I have a big bonus due in April and if I fell this month that payment would be included in the average pay workings for my 6 weeks at 90% for smp. Let's just say it's enough for me to be off for six months without worry or having to save.

If I'm not, then I have five parties to attend and I'll be asking for some serious christmas wine from Santa.

I'll be honest and say I think it's quiet because there was a real spate of bfps for ladies who hadn't posted on the thread for long (even if they were ttcing before joining) and I know I found it hard reading a few times but obviously wish those ladies all the best.

This our 7th cycle since we started ttc but I make myself feel better by calling it cycle five due to issues. We literally have done everything this cycle, bd six times in 8 days, soft cups, conceive plus etc.

If I am: spending time at home with our families knowing we'll have a bundle of joy by next Christmas.

If I'm not: did someone mention wine???

Still no sign of AF & very light spotting again this morning (only noticable when I wipe). Emotions are all over the show.

Hi All! Hope everyone is well and congrats to those that have had bfps recently.

I've been MIA for a bit - just taking a break plus have some big exams that I'm not doing to well at....

I didn't track at all this month but thinking AF is around the corner and planning to get back on the horse (so to speak) this cycle....

Hey all. CD44 now and no AF, longest cycle so far and 2 days longer than last month. But BFN x 2 now and no symptoms anyway.

Given that I don't feel i got a 100% positive OPK I'm wondering if I didn't ovulate? Would be weird as i have every other month but although my OPKs got 95% dark I would say they were never quite darker than the control line. Anyone ever had this?

If I didn't though, god knows what will happen now either why we're on cycle 6 now. Also trying since April so struggling to be positive x

Cats are you using internet cheapies? If so, consider a Dual Hormone Clearblue Digi - I could never interpret the ICs and got on much better with the CB. There is no doubt whatsoever what day you ovulate on with them!

Last month we tried everything - Conceive+, OPKs, SMEP and lying down with a pillow under my bum after. Cried on and off for 3 days when I got AF so this month I'm not doing anything - I'm not spending any more money on extras. I've been taking Seven Seas Pre Conception vitamins since April and this month I'm starting with evening primrose oil as I've read that improves cm quality.

So we are just going to try BD every other day around the time of my usual ovulation day.

When my brother was posted away in June (Army) I was sure when he came back in December I'd be telling him I was pregnant

Yep I am using ICs, they've been fine til now but i'm wondering whether you're right and an upgrade would be good.

I also thought I could be just a couple of months away by Christmas so naive.

Can't decide whether to try to forget about it all and relax, or try even harder...we've been doing OPKs and vitamins, but not digi, temps or conceive plus properly..

Well CD1 here as anticipated.

Clarabell1984 - that's something I've struggled with myself... I honestly don't know what's for the best but from the employers POV I can't help but think it's a unfair. That's what has stopped me from taking any action in that regard.

However, an unplanned pregnancy can happen and in those circumstances I think it is different. I think it's the premeditated action that's the problem.

Although, who knows when you would actually fall pregnant. It could be this cycle or it could be in a years time giving you over 18 months in the role?! (I hope that it doesn't take that long for you obviously, that's just to make the point - we're all here because we want it sooner rather than later) x

I use internet cheapies, from Amazon - and from the same people I usually order from. They sent me ones thats looked a bit different. Probably not to most people but to me - who has done this one for 1.5 years and Im what, several cycles in now or something, I know my ICs!

Like you the line wasn't getting as dark, so I wrote to them, and asked them what was going on! They said they had production issues and had to revert to a different one. I had one left of my old ones, so I did a comparison and the line on one was as dark as, the other was really light - there was no arguing they weren't as good.

They sent me out the old batch and promised that the distribution problems were being solved and I would continue to get the old ones....Perhaps the same for you?
