Morning all, I'm hoping that good news comes in threes this week!

Last night she had some more mild cramping, but no sign of spotting today either. Just now before she left for work there was a great big glob of stretchy ewcm.

Reading online suggests that ewcm could just mean AF is on the way...everyone's different. CM has been seemingly random throughout this cycle so wouldn't put too much trust in it either way. However she has never had ewcm at this stage before, so it's not a usual sign of AF.

    this is CD35 15dpo

According to Glow AF due tomorrow. Hate this waiting, I was actually nervous when she went to the toilet! just in case she found there had been some spotting over night.

CD31 and no AF yet. Negative tests at the weekend. Usual 28 day cycle. Just wish it would show so that we can move on.

    AMAZING NEWS KELLYKINS & EURONORRIS!!

Aw such a lovely start to my morning :)

For whoever takes over, CD2 for me. Wine and chocolate yesterday and also opened up to my Mum who told me her cycles were always all over the place and it did take her a while to conceive me. So disappointing, but good to know i'm probably just following genetics.

    Onwards and upwards :D

    Congratulations Kellykins, fab news :j

    I'm CD17 and, according to FF, 4DPO

I didn't really have much in the way of CM at all this month though so not entirely sure whether FF got ov right or not. I'm ever hopeful that it was later than predicted, as then I'd be in with the vaguest chance this month, but I think I've got to accept that it's not going to happen this cycle.

I'm thinking that I might start with OPKs next month, to try to give me a clearer idea of exactly what's going on with my cycle, so does anyone have any recommendations for easy-to-use ones?

I don't really have anything to compare them to, but I just used internet cheapie opk test strips from eBay Izadora. Think they were about £3-£4 (including delivery) for 30 of them.

They did the job for me, and are much cheaper than the clearblue fertility monitor one. But I know that others prefer that because it gives a clearer indication of whether you've ovulated or not (smiley face appears, or doesn't), rather than having to interpret the test sticks themselves.

My sister used the clearblue one when she was TTC'ing with both her children, and was successful with it. So I think it just comes down to what you're most comfortable with.

I found the test strips really easy to interpret, but I don't seem to have a high amount of Leutinizing Hormone in my system when I'm not ovulating, so when they were negative, they were really negative, and when I had the surge at ovulation, it was very, very obvious to me. From reading on other forums, that isn't the case for everyone.

    Hope that helps xx

  • Morning everyone :)

Almost a week since I had the implant out, no sign of AF yet (getting a few symptoms, hungry, a few cramps, weird moods, general feeling pants so think she's on her way!!) Did a OPK again yesterday no sign of OV yet so guessing I'm gonna have AF first? Coming off birth control is so confusing!!

Hugs to everyone and fingers crossed for you Freddie :) xx

[STRIKE]I wish I hadn't read about it online now. Reading about all the people saying they get ewcm just before AF has made me start thinking it's not going to happen this month.

I hope the next cycle isn't as long as this one was, whole extra week to wait :([/STRIKE]

Yes never mind, best to ignore it anyway as it could mean anything (or nothing)
