Is it possible you o'd later cats? Do you chart at all?

Big hugs cuilean and ellesbelles, I really hope its your turn next ladies :grouphug: have a dodgy group hug to start your day with.

I'm being positive that I didn't have another 8 day LP as that had really worried me last cycle, I'm currently 10dpo with a bfn on an ic this morning. If no AF I'll retest Friday perhaps?

Has anyone else watched the great sperm race documentary? That was very interesting.

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

No i don't chart temps, but I was trying to keep track of symptoms etc. I've never really had many for ov even when I wasn't on the pill, but I did keep an eye (TMI) on CM, which seemed to match the expected pattern.

Have been pretty hectic with work and home bits, so maybe I'm just a bit stressed out which is not helping anything. I have a couple of days off after today so really going to try and relax, then hopefully when AF does make an appearance I can move on, and definitely going to try OPKs next month.

cats I know how you feel, everything seems so stressful this week, I feel like I'm going mad. Mega AF symptoms in full progress, feel like it will be any day, CD23 6DPO and not sure I can muster up the same effort doing SMEP/OPKs etc next month, its totally exhausting!! But sure I will be back in the game by CD8 of next month...

Sending positive vibes to everyone x

    Congratulations BR.

Cd4 here, gonna see if I can get the opks to work this month, was given some but as there's only 8 and I refuse to buy more, I won't start testing on day 6 like instructed, especially given a 30 day cycle.

Summer holidays for me too now so hopefully it will help. At least I shouldn't be as tired as usual!

Pregnancy announcement at work today. I don't feel anything really except envious. It is her third so I didn't think they'd take long conceiving.

We're going to try every other day until we get to Fertility friend's fertile days, then BD every day until I get a temp change. If no luck I might try a CB OPK next month.

    Good luck every one :)

    Congrats BR :j

I am super nervous. Ff keeps messing with my head and changing my ov date ( had a couple of temp dips and ewcm a few days apart this cycle) initially it said I was 15dpo last Friday (bfn) now it's saying tomorrow. Part of me wants to test immediately to know but part of me is too scared to. I'm going to try to wait til Saturday so I'm not testing pre work. But af may show up before then, feeling nauseous, achey, and a bit teary, all signs she could be on her way.
  • Hi Ladies,

Sorry for the silence from my corner. I've been feeling really insular the last few weeks due to a number of events:

There have been two pregnancy announcements at work and two women go on maternity leave. One of the maternity leave girls was harping on that she wanted to have a baby before she was 30 (jump two paragraphs for why this was particularly annoying) and she'd done her goal. An announcer found out she was having a boy after the first gender scan told her it was a girl so I had to endure 45 minutes of her saying how she really didn't want a boy, there's no cute boy's clothes and she wouldn't find it as easy to communicate with a boy when he's older. Ungrateful cow. Why don't these people think before they speak?

Close friends of my OH announced a pregnancy too (you know, the kind of people who have to see you to tell you their news, they make a very big deal about their news so we saw this one coming when he called to arrange to meet up with us, they never initiate meeting up unless they have news about engagement/house buying/baby).

Then there was my birthday... so please update me to the ripe age of 32 on the listings. I had a dose of the birthday blues this year. Not sure that I'm completely over it to be honest.

Oh and did I mention that I organized a baby shower for a lady who I'd only met twice?! It seems I have an inability to say no. Despite my nasty thoughts that only people on this thread deserve to get pregnant and no one else in my life, I can still be a pretty nice person that does nice things for others.

And last weekend we went to a christening, the mother dropped out of college because she fell pregnant. We were invited by the grandparents as they are good friends of ours.

So it's just feels like everyone else's happy baby news is being well and truly rubbed in my face at the moment.
 To add insult to injury, this month was our 12th month of trying. I guess this means I should migrate to the 12m+ thread. Does anyone even know how to sit in a doctor's surgery and begin to explain that you've failed miserably to get pregnant? I can't bring myself to call for an appointment as they always as if it's urgent, I guess compared to other ailments... it's not.

Do you even want to hear my other TTC updates? Hmmm well here they are anyway. CD16 (of 31), 2 DPO. Weekend only dtd (due to hubby's job). I started OPKing on CD14 as usually LH surge is CD16-18. CD14 was positive and CD15/16 negative. CD14 was Sunday so we double dtd. Creamy CM came in pretty fast, usually 2-3 days after positive OPK but this time the next day.

Hugs mrn and we'll done for not screaming at her that she is incredibly lucky to be having a healthy baby!

I think I'm about 10 or 11 dpo so did a test this morning, too early anyway so wasn't surprised to see a bfn bfn It was very odd though, as it was a two vertical lines test and there wasn't a second vertical line, but if it had been a cross test 9 (rather than two vertical lines) it would have been a positive test as there was a perfect and clear horizontal line! Did have to double check the leaflet to make sure it was a 2 vertical line test! I'll test again in a few days with a frer if af hasn't arrived.
