    Just caught up.

    Congratulations charlotte :j

We'll be onto cycle 6 when AF arrives and I'm flitting between a sort of calm certainty that we'll need help and desperate hope which is much worse. I know I'll feel crap when AF arrives either way.

Got a huge box from clearblue to sort through tomorrow  Wish me luck!

Forgot to add that I'm officially 1dpo here and in my 2ww, we didn't get any more bding in so will have to be satisfied with o-1, o-3, o-5 and o-7.....it only takes one (apparently!) :rotfl:

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

Congratulations me-charlotte! Happy and healthy pregnancy to you, and hope to get lucky enough to see you on the pregnancy boards! x

I think I am officially 1DPO today, after the pic uploaded on Weds, we inseminated (I can't really say DTD?) on Thursday and then !!!!!! it, wouldn't you know I got a positive OPK on Friday AND Saturday. So its say possibly ovulation Sat, or Sunday?

Timing is totally off, I know they can linger around, but I'm not feeling it. Oh well - let's call this one a practise run!

Has anybody else had a positive OPK on to days? I suppose this is what you run the risk of when you use an internet cheapie?

In other news, when we did meet up with the donor this week (our babysitter had canceled at the last minute so rather than lose the hotel room, we took the kids and planneda military operation as to how we would get around this issue). While he was doing the business in the room, I tried to shuffle them out of the car park and into the hotel for some ice cream in the restaurant, except - he is apparently the quickest bloody you-know-whatsit in the history of the WORLD - and he came out and passed us in the hallway.

Not quite the way I would have hoped the 'meeting' would have taken place!

  • Yay for birthday buds chickp! I had a nice day, though the train strikes ruined my planned birthday meal - got to go out locally with OH though, so not a complete loss. Hope you had some lovely celebrations!

I'm with you in the calmly accepting it's unlikely/desperate hope. I'm 7dpo and symptom spotting so badly it's ridiculous - especially since the only things I have to spot are lots of creamy cm and a high cervix, there's been nothing else. In previous twws I've been quite calm, figuring the hard bit was done, but this time I'm going mad, despite knowing AF will almost certainly show. I think it's because it's been so long, I'm overexcited!

Also doesn't help that FF insists I ovulated a week earlier than I did and is now merrily telling me to test - "you've gone over your normal LP! You might be pregnant!" Not helpful for a stress head :p

Hugs to those who need them, hoping the sun comes out soon :)

Massive grats and commiserations to people I've missed. Been awol from this thread for a while. My dad has been ill and our family cat of 12 years had to be put down. Haven't BD in a month now and struggling with my mood atm so no idea when we might try again. My cousin gave birth yesterday and the way my parents have been talking about it all hasn't helped.

    Sigh

I'm 9 dpo now - the TWW is killing me :( no symptoms to spot either.

Starting to think i should have temped, as only going on cycle. But we did manage to BD lots of days round then so you never know...
