Welcome snowball! Sorry the witch is visiting. (#cyclebuddies!)
I am in SO MUCH PAIN right now, I went home at lunch time and totally forgot to pick up any of my heat packs... oh well... off to have my eyebrows done after work, there's no point being in a little bit of pain when you can be in all the pain right?0 -
Take your mind off the pain in one region with pain in another region0

Thank you! I keep checking the abbrevs on page 1, just taking a while to go in
Just spotting today, think CD1 will be day after tomorrow. Had been counting from the spotting day but after reading up and paying attention to other stuff the last couple of months, I've been out by a couple of days I think... Why am I only just learning this stuff about my body, they should teach this stuff in school!0 -

Me and hubby were discussing the same thing yesterday. I was attempting to explain to him everything I had learned over the past couple of weeks, 99% of which I still was wrapping my head around.
In sex ed the only thing taught was essentially stick it in without protection and you're guaranteed a baby! Not a single thing about ovulation, or anything deeper about the menstrual cycle than, "You bleed each month"! Maybe we just had a bit of a crap sex ed!0 -

Haha, same here, love it when you find out you're not the only one :T0 -
I swear everything I've learnt about my body I've learnt from the internet... sex ed at school got as far as 'you make an egg once a month, if that doesn't get fertalised you get a period'
I'm not going to admit to you all how old I was when I realised the womb and the vagina were different things.... because that's frankly embarrassing... they teach you NOTHING at school.
Mind you, sex ed when I was primary school age was done by a male, unmarried priest... he kind of waved a sanitary towel at us and said we might need them when we were older and that was that... useless.0 -

Primary school we were taken into a Portkabin and showed a movie of a family totally in the buff wandering around a house while it pointed arrows to their bits, followed by the bloke laying on top of the woman and a bullet point list of what was going on.
Sex-ed in secondary school consisted of a sexual health nurse coming with a piece of cardboard with different flavours of condoms poked through them and we had a 'game' where we had to lick (!!!) each one and guess the flavours! Thankfully I didn't take part!0 -
I wish I could run, JoBatch, but I have tendon issues in my ankle which hurts if I run
!
Yikes - I can imagine - I used to get horrendous pain in my calves but it just turned out I needed special insoles which the navy kindly sorted for me. I have knee pain due to too many ladders and being thrown around at sea, but I'm lucky they are no bother when running. Swimming was great exercise when I was in physio though as it's no impact.:O no4 michbright... jealously SO MUCH JEALOUSY... I've been trying to convince Mr P that we can have 5... he says 3 is the absolute limit. We're probably gonna try for 3 of our own and then foster after that :-)
Oh my word you're all so much braver than I!! Both OH and myself have said we shall go for 1, but I'll inevitably want a second; unless I'm unlucky and get a devil child first time round. Allegedly my husband was a difficult one so hopefully it will take after me; I'm an angel lol. I don't think I could cope with any more than that. Two maximum then OH is getting a snip. I don't think I've told him this yet.Anyway AF (I think?!) came today and I was really disappointed so it's time to start 'trying'. I'm 35 and we're TTC #1.
Well I'm only one CD ahead of you and were the same age! I'm also TTC #1. Welcome, and I hope your stay is short!
So, I've written most of my essay and I'm taking a break, and Ive been to the lovely lady doc who was an entirely different lady doc to the one I was expecting who declared me fit for work purpose.
I did chat generally about the whole TTC for 6 months, no OPK+ last month etc so she's going to investigate, I've got a blood test for all the female hormones on Friday morning, then one on the 17th Feb for day 21 levels and then we shall see from there, as well as me monitoring OPK's every day from end of cycle, if nothing else, this will probably make me feel a bit better. It's probably just stress, but she's taking me seriously which is really nice.
Right. I feel a nap coming on before I tackle the rest of this essay......#KiamaHouse0 -

We're going to see how things go. Depending on how bad pregnancy/labour is, or in fact just getting pregnant in the first place, depends whether it'll be one or two. Personally I've always just wanted one, but my parents have been doing a bl**dy good job of making me feel like the worst person in the world because they'll be 'alone'!
I should add that we are TTC#1, I don't think I've said that yet!
:rotfl:about the snip. Hopefully the first time he finds out isn't when you're hovering over him in bed with a pair of scissors and a glint in your eye.0 -

OH is the eldest with two sisters and I have an older sister, so naturally he wants 3 kids and I want 2 (or 4 to make it even). Depends how much of me is left after one! :rotfl:Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016
