    Afternoon all

Bit of a daft question but:-

Harley has partly eaten a £10.00 does, anyone know, if the bank will exchange it or have I lost it? My mum seems to think that they will exchange it??

How much did he manage to eat?

I believe as long as you have more than half the banknote then there's some way to claim damaged notes back from the bank of england.

    EDIT: info here http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/banknotes/Pages/damaged_banknotes.aspx

(Obviously doesn't work if you have less than half or we'd all go round tearing notes in half and doubling our money!)

He has eaten part of the left hand corner and its ripped in half and eaten part of the middle, I still have the 2 parts, with the serial number on the one side and part of the serial number on the other.

  • re returning things on apg and using apg

It is in the terms and conditions not to do it - customer services generally don't take it off but it says that any return should come off value off apg

    1. If a customer has performed a Check, received a voucher and then returned one of the items that was part of the Check, the voucher will be invalid.
    2. If a voucher has been redeemed from a receipt, the value of any refund given due to the return of an item on that receipt will be offset against the value of the redeemed voucher.

I worked for asda and actually lost my job over not doing it correctly :( well in my case I was the customer but the person on customer services didn't do part 2 properly and since I didn't point it out (Never noticed at the time) it was seen as fraud as I cost them money..(less than £6). its not worth getting banned from doing the apg over , we get plenty of good deals
£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am
