For your information:

Very expensive raspberries at Morries!:eek: They're on 2 for £3, but I'm 'sure' I've had them cheaper in the past. My price guide being £1 on such a small pack!(:rotfl:) This might be another case of was £1, now any 2 for £3:(, although if so, I reckon they have been £2 each:eek: for quite a period in between (I don't track expensive prices, such as £2 each, so can't say for sure).

Wish I had the lady in front of me leaving the receipt yesterday. In fact, yesterday's stories from Mr A. Everyone around me paying over the odds on nearly everything! Lady bought two Veg Chilli tins, at £1.38 each:eek:. They were only 50p in Morries. Another one had some Satsumas - really small pack, at 87p!:eek:_pale_ You could, at the best time, buy twice as much as that from Aldi for only 39p.

Then, in Morries, I had one at the end of the aisle, noticing the Go Ahead! slices at £1, exclaim to her companion that "that's a good price!". Just as I thought... if you think that, they are 85p in A and 84p in Waities so £1 is certainly not good on them at all! Again, some item on the end, that attracts people's attention and has them doing an about-turn and then lingering over it - usually not the best deals!:rotfl: For her to think this... £1 is a fairly standard price on these things, nothing special, and on the very high end of pricing - beyond anything I'd consider these days. There's a few "More" points on them in M, but nothing very good and have to buy two packs - not worth it in my view (unless there's a real good CB offer somewhere in addition that I don't know about that gives far more than half the purchase price back - I doubt it!:D).
