slight frost on the ground this morning but a beautiful blue sky with a sun with warmth in it at 10pm.

Dad has gone forward for his forever sleep:a

service was lovely and i managed my reading.

Huge family meal tonight 16 of us. I just want to go to sleep as so shattered but i don't think anyone but mum realises this. I will soldier on but don't think i will manage the whole evening as tummy doing somersaults.

Have missed a fair bit but thanks to happy doldrums for mentioning call the midwife which i managed to watch online late last night to calm my nerves.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me these last 6 months. You made such a difference to my life:a:a

I'm still waiting for the day sada security tap me on the shoulder as I bend over the trolleys and ask me what I'm doing whilst I'm trying to liberate receipts

JEL that sounds like the start of a film. If you know what I mean ;)

Rhos, glad your grandson is ok. What fab service to be seen that quick. Nothing worse than hanging around waiting rooms with children.
I've obviously been far too spoiled with heating. I did nothing but moan when our boiler broke before Christmas. I thought it was freezing but the lowest the temperature dropped to was 14 degrees. All I can assume is that you are all very tough cookies or far better equipped than we were.

VT, glad your day went as well as it could. Well done on managing to do a reading. I couldn't manage it for my Dad :( Bet your Dad would have been really proud. Wishing you gentle days ahead and sending lots of hugs x
