Halifax do a childrens 6% regular saver...for 0-15 years. If anyone's interested...only one per child.. You can deposit between £10-£100 per month. No withdrawals allowed within the 12 month period.
Info here for anyone interested:)

We have had these for years but it is another in branch appointment required to open silly process. They then messed ours up and took interest off three years running despite filling in the correct forms. Each time they messed it up, they insisted I go in branch to correct their error which is at least a two hour round trip. And then i still had to reclaim tax from HMRC as they did not implement the mandates properly.
Oh, and since the Lloyds takeover you cannot view or administer the accounts online - a system improvement, they claim.

There were quite a few posts like this in the Ts days, which is why I am very careful. CC & H/D etc. pin it to a name etc. Hope it's not too much of a problem for you. Do you have other shops that you can use instead for gitches?
Hiya DSG
I'm not the only person. I got quite a few pm's from people who also were suspended. Quite a few people said on here they had been too. It took a while but I proved I had done nothing wrong and they said I could come back xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Luckily the other shop I needed to go to was only 10 minutes away. It is an ex netto, so mine was the only CC for that day. They seemed more concerned about the fact that my candles had been subbed and were worried I wouldn't like the smell. :eek:0 -

The in branch appointment is a bit of a pain I agree, but I didn't have any problems with the one I opened a couple of years ago.. Although I did close it after the 12 months was up.0 -
