Morning all. Bet your final week just flies by queen of cheap. I've just spent a lovely half hour choosing things from New Look - and then not buying any of it. I don't need new clothes, but I had fun looking :)

I just mean that people seem to go mad on one thing. Then something else comes along followed by loads of posts about people having reached their limit and how to get round it. Why not just pace things?
Agree :) Though don't think I have got out the starting blocks with cc/hd. Bit bizarre reading about people adding more chocolate to their stash when they still have chocolate that glitched from a previous year(s) Variety the spice of life eh? :p:D
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    I agree!

you see people posting their shops here, their sale hauls and go on about how much they've "saved"...but did they really need any of it to start with, I doubt it!!

I'm trying a no spend January, just buying essentials, fresh F&V and running down what I already have!

I agree a bit and have hit my restraint button

I love a sale and in the last 18 months a gliche but I was "buying" for the sake of it and for others. Family are happy to "pay" the cheap price but I was buying way more than the two of us could use

I have stocked up and have all the Christmas cards and paper for this year and have enough "raffle" prizes for the GC events or a quick b'day gift
We never see wombles in sada They have guys out all the time 8pm on a snowy cold Saturday night

I have space in my freezer which I hope to start filling at the end of the month or mid February We had a beautiful roast leg of lamb last night but I bought it four months ago so a clear out is needed

I really admire those like savvy sal, et al, who womble and can keep their spend down without becoming a hoarder with the "offers" like I do Sometimes it felt like I was spending a fortune but it does look lovely all lined up in the garage though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
