  • Thanks for this, what about the Dove Go Fresh Cucumber Deo as a trigger (NOT THE COMPRESSED VERSION) which was working before Christmas, not appearing on MSM

Got all excited about the panasonic phones posted earlier as I need a new 3 set......SEL and scanned at £90:eek: I'll wait a bit longer :rotfl:

Popped in to local A's which is quite a small one but no toblerone in sight there was shelf space for it marked at £3 but empty also no Iams in flavour mine eat so lucked out totally.

Over the last few months I have really enjoyed taking my grandchildren to the Odeon Saturday or Sunday morning kids screenings thanks to Sun Perks.....such a shame I don't have the grandchildren this weekend

Just been to A. Unsuccessful in doing a comp. shop - was trying to get the Snap & Save items that are all vs Morries. But - has anyone seen any evidence yet that this week's offer prices in M are being picked up on the APG? They seem to have deliberately removed the 24 Birds Eye Crispy Chicken Dippers packs from the shelves. £3.25 and had a SEL up for them but no stock. Yet the 24 Birds Eye Breaded Chicken Dippers (which are not stocked in M and therefore not the right ones) are at £1.89 and they had stock of those. (Just doesn't seem believable somehow to imagine many people getting the £3.25 ones and yet not buying the £1.89 from the same shelving.) It was useless, as I was trying to spend a higher value APG and needed a nice £3.25 cost to help. Just seems convenient and so coincidental that the higher priced ones have apparently sold out - I can't but help think they've been taken away because they are cheaper in M, and cheaper there than the £1.89 ones, so they don't want to better that by 10%.

So, instead I did my "couple of items" non-APG shop. It looks like milk is now to be bought (from tomorrow maybe to allow their systems time to catch up) in T or M, or to be kept away from any APG shopping in A. I was going to get a 4 pint milk at £1 and just lose the 10% this rare occasion as would otherwise have to be getting more items and comparing vs T, S or W. (My main shop was to have been vs M - milk a no-no there, unless then having to buy in 3s and that doesn't always work.)

The milk scanned through at 89p, which I wasn't expecting, so I ended up getting slightly better than the 10% price that I'd missed:rotfl:. Fortunately I had added an item for someone else who doesn't use the APG:wall: - they can pay outright for that item:D - of all things they wanted a pack of those horrid grapes - so it didn't mess up my own APG payment of my part of the shop. Left the bill at -- exactly £1.39 of course:rotfl:.

I notice the milk is 89p online, on a.com and msm, but the 6 pint even cheaper per litre - £1.30 for 6 litres. They could be a item to click and then collect, and then involve in a competitive play-off against everywhere except M, if you knew whether they were still showing the old prices for A at the time of the lunchtime update today. Otherwise, we are going to be on to buying in T or M - M in particular I feel do need to be forced to price-match to £1.30 from their expensive £1.99 - so - do it as much as possible I feel if you are already spending £15 in M once it starts picking up the new A price - or buying in A on a separate shop and no longer able to use on the APG.

I also saw Heinz soups in A at their expensive 50p prices:( - however :rotfl: as I'm not bothering with shopping or wombles at the moment (I can't even manage to complete an APG shop with the Crispy Dippers:rotfl:, so I saved all the cost of that:D:money::rotfl:) so a soup might come in useful for me at Mr S!

I think the bath you got still compares to W so all not lost :D

I only distract when you are chatting to SA while I scan 1p items to 'unexpected item in bagging area' song !!!!

I will point out that wombling can be embarrassing when a work colleague runs over to ask if she can help you find whatever it is you have lost as she saw you wandering around ...and made her husband do an emergency stop:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::o:o
