queen_of_cheap wrote: »You know you get those days where you wished with all your might that you'd stayed in bed?
This morning, I really did wish that. I felt just as rough this morning as I did a few days agoso really felt proper grumpy
In asda, some stupid tart was getting 3 sets of instructions for every step on the self checkout thing. She was older than me. Just how was it so difficult?!
On to currys. I wanted to buy a fitbit. Normally, you go in and are fighting the staff off like wasps. Oh no, not today. I stood around for a good five minutes and counted SEVEN staff all standing around chatting to each other. I am a bitto say that they did cop it a bit from from me for that. I paid, then was told that if I wanted a bag I'd have to get one on the way out, so I asked for one and was told that "I didn't need to ask for one if I didn't want one". REALLY?? Was I just asking to make conversation?!
In Costa, the guy behind me in the queue got his drink before me but I did let that slide because he was having coffee and she was making my hot choc
In morrisons the lady on the till made a fuss because I used misery guts M&M card- well I wouldn't have to do that if they sent my card through, would I?? They couldn't even get the name right on his card *sigh*
In B&Q, there were queue jumpers galore
In the end, I was glad to get home. I spent the afternoon at the allotment, away from anyone who could annoy me just by breathing!
I hate being ill
I know exactly how you feel, we all have days like that, think it's part of being unwell. I've been sofa surfing all day as bunged up for the 2nd time in a fortnight and think it's now gone on to my chest. When I'm poorly I tend to be a bit over sensitive and DH gives me a wide berth :rotfl:
Hope you feel better soon.:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -

Just back from having a quick scan around in Tosco. Found one of the wines that had been on Christmas half price, not a yellow label, still on the end of an isle. Scanned at £10.99 sel £4.99. Had to quickly do scan shop and dashed back in for the 6 bottles on shelf and went through till.( and a couple of other bits to make it less obvious) exclaimed that I wasn't expecting the bill to be that high as I took the receipt and headed off to service desk. The SA there couldn't be nicer, took her down and showed her the shelf, oh well T's can afford it she says! £72 refunded with a smile and It'll taste even better now! :July free wine!
Ooh, just in T which wine did you get?SPC 2015: #319 £10.65 / £500 Bulgaria tin0 -
