So here is my Sains shopping, been drawn out just over two months. I started off with about £35 in Nectar points. I spent £25 in points, and 2p cash (my banana too big) on the first shop. Should have got £10 back in points (not instantly but after several weeks) - ended up getting £25 back (but lost £2 of that as Young's Lighted Coated Pollock did not compare and didn't bother with that due to getting back more than I should have had). So £25 points spend, £23 points back:D. I did spent the other £10 worth during my other shops - for no recompense unfortunately, but did help me reach cond spends at various stages (as well as prolonging the BMs - had I not put that extra money in, my BMs would have faded out and died completely). In total, throughout the period of shopping, I managed to use £17.50:j in cond.spends (mostly without having to pay any real cash or, at most, 3 pence (yes, my banana was way too big:()), including 3 out of 4 £4 offs (sadly didn't use the fourth, that would have given me £2.50 in Nectar points - but then would have spent way more in real cash, in fact would have required probably £10 in cash:eek: at that stage - far more than any points I might have got back from it).

I think I used £2.11 real cash in the entire period (£1 each on two shops to use the £4 off spend, plus 11p over the amount of BM/Nectars/cond spends, total amount across all 13 shops, including the penny over on one of my four shops today - other three hit the precise amount: pretty good!). Plus I've given them 40p and 40p again for two bread shops.

I started with £35 plus £1.84 in points and have ended up with £1.64 in points. So, just about a £35 spend.

    With it I got:

1 pack of McCoys 14 pack crisps
1 Kipling Almond Slices (picked up wrong price on BM, but put right via CS)

    Dairylea Light Triangles (8 pack)
    1 Terry's Milk Chocolate Orange
Cadbury Chocolate Brunch Bars (6 pack)
Happy Egg Large Free Range Eggs (6)
Tropicana Orange & Mango (1L):D:D, nice help at £2.50 the day before the price went down:rotfl::T:T:T. Went £2.50 vs 98p - kept me more BM back!:)
    1 Heinz Spaghetti + Sausages tin (400g)
    Seriously Strong Light Spread (125g)
1 pack of McVities Jaffa Cakes (12)
3 packs of Basics Cornflakes (500g):)
    1 Basics 750g:(:rotfl: Salt
3 Flash Magic Eraser Power (single)
2 Pot Noodle Chicken & Mushroom (90g) (sep. shops;). Reuse the item!:rotfl:)
1 pack of McVities Digestives - Strawberry Cheesecake Creams
    1 Sprout (3p)
    1 New Potato
    1 piece of Carrot (4p)
    1 shave of Broccoli (1p)
A single closed cup mushroom (3p)
    1 Basics Blackcurrant (frozen) Cheesecake
1 pack of Basics Ice Cream Cones (4)

That does seem quite a list! (I tried to keep it going as much as possible...) I doubt many people could get that on a shop for £35 + shall we say £2.21 (£2.11 real cash:eek: and 10p fewer points left over after the £35 spend) = £37.21. Certainly it could not have been done like that on a single shop. I'm sure I'll add up the individual price on each entry that I would have been willing to pay soon:rotfl:.

McCoys 14 crisps £2 (and of course they used to be 15:(), should have bought 6 packs from A and paid nothing:rotfl::rotfl:*. Almond Slices should have been 9p whoopsied. Just 9p at the moment - not looking too good, hope it is more than £37.21 at the end!:rotfl: Tuc Crackers - 50p each, there we are! (Could not have got them glitched). 50p x 5 = £2.50. Some people would have spent half that £37 on the condoms alone:rotfl:! Should have got standard ones free from family planning clinic. Dettol Wipes 31p for a 36 pack on recent glitch (=62p for my 72 pack ones) - was I ripped off?:rotfl:

But...:idea:imagine those bananas being picked up by muggles in packs though - and paid £2:eek: for them! That's where my saving is:D;).

    * Actually it was about 47p for 6 -: v.expensive as Walkers old 24 packs at £2 offer prices: 47p x 4 (being 6x4=24) = £1.88, hardly much better and worse than 10% off £2 price way back then. But... 5g per pack more;), maybe:(:rotfl:.

Still can't filter stores properly on HUKD. Better get emailing as this is doin' me head in!

    try this way.

deals home page, then in the search box start typing the store you want. Tesco in this example. then under merchants click Tesco

    then select deals or vouchers

Noticed on MSM the Foxs Chunky Cookies ARE now showing the 2 for £2.50 price.
Was wondering if the Hartleys Sugar Free jelly pots have filtered through to APG results reflecting Morries price of 25p yet?
Not able to shop until Sunday but was needing some (but not at 5 for £2. only if at Morries 25p price)

Just bumping my query. Hope no one minds. Might be few others having done shops today whom know the answer.
    The end is nigh

  • The items in the offer in T are different prices so will come up as N/A on the apg. Don't buy in A hoping to get an apg vs T!

In an attempt to avoid the simple offer in T I have ordered a Lynx deo and the garnier scrub as well as the simple item SFSB thinks may be the trigger.

    :T Well done Savvy

You think I did well?!?:D:D:rotfl: Eh?:)

    :cool::cool::cool::T

Bearing in mind... most of the original £35 points were free in the first place - lot of First group sign-ups;), adpoints (wave goodbye:(), help from on here - particularly aau1:T - with extra points. I spent about £5 in Sains:eek: prior to all this (during the entirety of January-October last year:rotfl:), that got me towards those original points. Probably five pence of the £1.64 I have left:(:rotfl::(. Plus I've excluded the over £40:eek:_pale_ that I spent in BP, on a special promotion, that ended up with... just about the same price as the cheapest elsewhere at the time:(:rotfl::rotfl:. (Really overpaid on that one:rotfl:. Anyway, would have had to have spent the same elsewhere.)

I'm glad you've totalled up all the products I got and think I've done well:cool:.
