Glad to hear she is better manila. My DD3 used to get horrendous temperatures compared to my other two when she was poorly. First time it happened frightened the life out of me.

Someone told me that with some children their bodies cannot control the high temperatures as well as others not sure if that is actually true. But quite a few times when she had normal childhood illnesses a temperature of over 40 degrees was not unusual.

Same with our eldest, the first time she had a febrile convulsion she was 2, stinking hot summer and I was pregnant and it started with just the normal sniffles, we got home and she started convulsing - this was prior to Google so I had no idea what was happening - very dramatic. We went to hospital and she had a lumber puncture thing to make sure it was not meningitis. It happened a few times afterwards but we knew how to control her temp and she did grow out to them.
We were just clueless - we were warned about looking for meningitis symptoms but never told anything about temp control.
The digital thermometer went everywhere with us afterwards.

Finally got round to ordering some new shoes :j Well the last pair were that knackered they give me two blisters. Did you know the typical athletic shoes are only good for 350 - 500 miles :( I'd probably would have to change every 2 months
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
