Well, looks like my day isn't going to go quite to plan. DS1 has woken up with a big crop of spots around his nose and mouth. Think it may be impetigo? School will just send him home unless he sees the GP to confirm either way. So am currently on hold to the Drs surgery. How am I 10th in the queue when I got through at 8 o'clock?!!

What happens if you can't get a GP appointment today? And knowing Sod's law when you do get an appointment the mysterious rash will have subsided :D

    Good morning.

Very fresh here this morning, but no snow for us. First time in a long while that I have had to put gloves on. And I'm sorry I left my ear muffs at home as I could have done with them too ...

    Happy Birthday Troutabout and CJJ.

    Good morning all

    Happy birthday Troutabout :)

Just back from Boots. Got some lovely stuff for reasonable price (this place has spoilt me and 70% off is just not good enough these days lol).

Also had a double points coupon and £3 off No7 make up which scanned fine but I had a £5 off £30 spend which wouldn't go through till even though I met the spend required after the No 7 voucher so I shall fire off a quick moan to head office as I cant see any reason why those two shouldn't work together.

Was surprised at the amount of people that had 2 trolleys stuffed full. Do they really need all that or will they be sticking it on ebay?

I seem to think there are only 8 sachets in these boxes instead of the normal 12 but I will check on this later today.

My base price is £2.50 for a 12 sachet box with 100g sachets - this is the other thing you have to take into account - sometimes the sachets are only 85g so that's more like 11 sachets instead of 12.

My gang are eating the 19p chicken cans from Asda - these are only 85g but better quality food with a higher meat content so one I share between 3. They also have Felix sachets.
Sadly run out of the free butchers cat food we had before Christmas but I might have to get some anyway so they gave some variety.

Oddly on Quidco last night it had butchers bought from the usual places 90p cashback but also butchers bought from Morrisons with 70p cashback - any idea why?
Only Morrisons sell it around here :(
Something going on with the Felix Sensations Catfood that might be worth investigating today. They should all compare against £2.50 at T and most flavours v S too if anyone can make anything of it.

First pic msm, second pic A.com. Note the different prices..?

Probably best thing to hope for is £2.47 each instore so a possible cc/hd? If so, comparison might be £3.29 v £2.50 per box, returning an apg of £1.04. Maybe meaning £1.43 per box.

Dunno, just waffling out loud at the moment, I do tend to do that on a Wednesday..:rotfl:
