Good morning all. For me it would have to be pernod, cider & black - yuk - the thought makes me feel ill and I have not drank it for about 30 years.

A friend from Uni had a wonderful story about meeting her future inlaws for the first time, Pernod and black and a white sheepskin rug.

I cannot drink anything that reminds me of Arak,Saki, etc. ........after 30 years I can remember the smell, but can't remember anything about the night in question.

No work today for me, but was thinking the same this morning about looking forward to getting back to "normal". Bit like the huge excitement of going on holiday, then always a great pleasure to return home :)

I also need to get out and blow a few cobwebs away - feeling a bit inert and lacking oomph, so need to get a few miles under my feet. Nanny, glad to hear you are feeling better and hope you had a fab xmas. Best wishes for 2015 to you and please pass on a very happy new year to Nikki too.

Itching for a healthy global glitch that lasts more than 24 hours .......

    Happy shopping everyone.
