Morning luvlies, I'm not a happy bunny :( I cancelled my A c&c choc order on NYE which I placed on 30/12. I was told there would be no problem, CS would cancel it on the system and call the store to let them know.

This morning I checked my online banking to find not only have I been charged for an order which I didn't collect, I've also incurred an arranged overdraft fee from my bank as I didn't have funds available to cover the debit.

I've just called CS and they confirmed that they called the store to cancel the order and told me who they'd spoken to. I now have to wait 3-5 working days for the manager of the store to call me and discuss my refund and the arranged over daft fee I've incurred.

If I'd known it was going to be this much hassle I would have just collected the order and returned the chocolates in store.

Has anyone else had this happen to them before please? TIA

Good morning - lesson learned, don't try porting your mobile number anywhere near a bank holiday. Although EE (and Asda - on EE network) both claimed it only takes 24 hours to transfer, as do other networks, if you are anywhere near a bank holiday it seems everyone goes on holiday ... did you know it still relies on humans on all the networks involved to send and receive files and putting the details into other systems, I assumed it was automated once the request was submitted :o . Porting requests submitted on Monday, due to arrive Tuesday ... numbers finally transferring today, so two contracts I have now had to pay an extra month as they were not killed by the end of December as intended, and I will get no use out of them :(. Cunning plans foiled again.

New Year's Resolution - don't leave number ports until the last few days of the PAC or your "month" :o.

Morning all on this sunny cold morning :)

Collected a c&c order for toblerone. Ordered at £4 each but charged £3 each so waiting for APG to see if I have them free or not .
Ordered one banana. Collector said there were none there when he picked my order but as he walked through the store to bring me my order he saw some and added a bunch to my shopping, so I have a lovely bunch of bananas free of charge.:D
Also got the Band Aid CD free. Whats that all about lol.
