Bad as me then buying 12 creme eggs but I have made up for it in wombles today.Over £10 which is £5 over my daily target.:D

I don't know how!:T Sadly they aren't Pot Noodle'd, Heinz Souped and Aero Mousse'd enough yet in my parts:(. Most of my receipts still having one of other of those sets of items on them, will obviously need to wait a little more till they have bought enough:mad:. The receipts that are good don't have any of those items on them (sadly they're in a minority).

I'm nearer Morries so drive to As. Normally stop off at TKM's en route though.

Make sure the pack says Erics Squirts on it. The larger sweets in that range are not reduced. The squirts are to the left of the bigger ones but not right next to them. HTH

Thanks for mentioning that - I was going to say just that very thing!:T:T:)

Probably you more eloquently than me though. The Squirts in my store were right next to the others - in fact some of the others had found their way into the Squirts box and only found one of those (10p ones) left - very easy indeed for ordinary shoppers, or even some of us, to pick up a wrong one and think it's going to be 10p when it isn't! Even when the different ones are showing correct price labels on the shelf.

Just thinking out loud, but it would be the best option for Cadbury Creme/Caramel Eggs to buy in 6 (if only one flavour) or 6 or 9 of each (if both Creme egg and caramel available) as you need to keep divisible by 2 (to buy cheapest price) or 3 (to match 3 for £1). As they only had one flavour i bought 9 earlier which means I have paid 11.33p each**, not 9p each if I bought 6, 6 of each or 9 of each.

If there is only one flavour, you may as well buy 10 as buy 9 -pay £4.40 (5*88p), it thinks you paid £6.50 v £3.50 S (S single price is 50p, plus 3x£1), APG of £3.35, therefore £1.05 for 10 (compared to £1.02 for 9).

I think the above calculations are correct? Other permutations are possible with two flavours.

    HTH

** I messed up and bought with 3 for £5, forcing it to compare to S where I see Caramel are 2 for £1 not 3 for £1. As a result, I paid considerably more. I am a numpty!
