Now if the driver has signed his own name...or something illegible and left the parcel in a place he deemed appropriate. All he is guilty of is not doing his job very well but it isn't fraud.
As an aside. You can complain to a delivery company if you''re not happy but as you have no contract with them, they have no obligation to act on your complaint. The seller is the one who has the contract with the delivery service and that's where complaints should go.
I've had this happen too and agree it's a royal PIA but if I had the goods and no harm was done to them Id be inclined to let it go.
Sorry for butting in
Don't be sorry at all! I love a good debate and it's always helpful for us as people to view things from many perspectives
My understanding of the OP was that a parcel was late and when she chased it up, the company said it had been signed for by someone at her address which she declared 'impossible' and therefore assumed the driver had signed it. I wouldn't normally throw the word fraud around but if the driver signed pretending to be the recipient I do think that's fraud?
Each to their own, today's not a good day for me anyway so probably just taking my grumps out on a random! :rotfl:
I think it hit a nerve with me as a friend's ex was in a similar position but every single day was theiving parcels and selling the goods, forging signatures and even though he was arrested and went to court, the forged slips were deemed to be not enough evidence and he got away with it!!:mad:May: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155

Good luck. I'd go when it's really busy at a weekend with that. To a bored looking student
My plan with the jf oils and trigger apgs is to rinse and repeat with a bottle of wine in each shop. Good use for my free fiver i reckon :beer:0 -
Well my table and chairs arrived and they look very nice  will be better when we can give the place a lick of paint too. Delivery guys were from Glasgow and a pair of comedians so that cheered me up.
For now though it's off to work I go. Catch up later....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

£3.55 and it jumped out of my hand
In my defence, they'd spilt syrup around the outside of the cup and just wiped it off with a tissue instead of putting it inside another cup. it was hot and very sticky and I probably wasn't holding it properly because of it, but still
 Hope you're ok, you or someone nearby could have been burnt! I'd have gone back and complained, they shouldn't give a hot beverage to you if the outside is slippery; accident waiting to happen! - Oh dear, I'm on one today aren't i?! :rotfl:May: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155

One of my As have cctv pick me up I think.
All their checkouts and supervisors scrutinize my every receipt, I now always let them keep my receipt, so that as I leave I can turn to see two or three totally bewildered faces.
One day I'm going to offer to tell them how their system works.I dont think they will like my price though.

Yes 4 instore will take you just over £10 I think, but if you can find them on a.com then max of 10 per product.0
