Hi savvy, yes they were £2.50 each, so I paid £5 in total. Thank for looking into this
I've not yet done so, not even there yet!:o:o:rotfl: But I will get there to it by sometime tonight (extending this one to cover overnight:D). I assume nothing worth glitching - just the usual shower gels, deos, incessantly again - so, saving on the petrol now, crude oil prices have gone down again yesterday (not much liked by the markets) so expecting that to filter through and waiting a little before it does - still plenty of petrol left in the tank yet. Which means, hopefully, NSD tomorrow and don't need to be shopping for another two or three days:T. So, I can relax:D:D:j (after jumping around and making myself breathless:rotfl: - and then laughing and making myself more hoarse:)).
My M post, at 7.59 tonight, is now completed. I'll get the changes onto the M list in the next few hours as and when (and maybe later overnight), and then have my long weekend (in the middle of the week:laugh:).
I deserve it! No, I do! Although not much change in M (apparently), there are a few good items that I will be adding onto the list - a few surprises, not yet revealed, so do check the details out later!
What else? Oh - having problems with fish counters recently. Now have the Mackerel at £3.99/kg but no Herring or Dab (for T:eek: vs M). They probably do have the Dab constantly at £3.95/kg in that small store (that I didn't check today). Meanwhile, the Hake, when last seen two weeks ago, that's a "buy in M" item, felt very unlikely to work on APG, do keep up!:D:rotfl:, was £3.99/kg "everyday price" so it's probably still been available at that in some Ms today but no sign of it in my two stores today. And...oh yeah, the Barton's Piccalilli - smaller one RTC'd to 49p in M but I concluded that the 709g one at £1 in A is much better. It beat the CBY Piccalilli even with vs M on that. I think the 709g at £1 is very probably N/A for Morries - not totally sticking my neck out on it but I didn't find it in my couple of Ms (not that the second one had any Barton's at all:rotfl:, again I need to look in much smaller Ms: they'll have the widest range:rotfl::rotfl:). However, the Sweet Piccalilli in M has now had a price reduction (not the 'normal' Piccalilli but only the Sweet, but that's the only one in that range available from A), so now need to check again whether the 709g Barton's is still the best one.
And...the frozen Beef Quarter Pounders with either Jalapenos or Cheddar Cheese are back at £1.75 bogo'f', apparently:D. (I think they have been constantly at that - just couldn't find them in the stores I used before and, wrongly, took them off the list. (That was a judgement call, and I chose 'deletion' as not seen them for two check days.) So, they're going back onto the list now. With the dubious offer labels lying around in one of my stores:rotfl::rotfl:.)
A few new looking-good (maybe won't work:rotfl:) items to add to the M list, as surprises, soon!:)0 -
Evening all :wave:A dog wandered into our grounds at work and was running around for ages. We called police who recommended dog handling who was really rude and said unless we could restrain it they wouldn't come and fetch it! Back to police who said they couldn't help and it was dog handler's responsibility, even though we're on an A road.
It was quite a big collie and we had no way of restraining it or catching it. It was there about 40 mins but eventually disappeared. Complained about the dog handler, but what could we do.
I can just imagine how much dog poo it would have left behind :mad:0 -

:eek:You're like me now!:D Three stores? Are we sure all this running around and travel cost is worth it?:rotfl::A:T0 -

So... here's where the fun starts (that I finally now get to!).
Mr Sheen Wipes - either the Leather Wipes (30) or the Magnolia & Cherry Wipes (30).
£2.45 in M with 500 "More Points" (=50p).
Vs £1.47 in A.
Makes them, hopefully, in effect net 97p. A bit better for Leather wipes perhaps than is usually seen. That's if ordinary wipes aren't good enough anyway!
The points offer is - or, at least allegedly is:D - not only on the Leather Wipes but also on the Magnolia & Cherry scent version (all these different ones just to make you buy all of them and spend even more:D:rotfl:). Even though my second store had no points offer sign on the Magnolia & Cherry one:rotfl:.0 -
