    Evening all

Busy day for me. Went to the next town to meet a friend and we had a wander to Clintons which was sadly still 50% off. No mincemeat or scourers in Mr S either. Other sales in shops were rubbish too. This thread has ruined me :p
Glad I met my friend as would have been a wasted journey otherwise. As it was, had a lovely catch up and lunch with our boys.

Did slightly better in Ts tonight. Small tins of Heinz Alphabetti spaghetti and macaroni cheese reduced to half price - 23p and 35p respectively. Not a massive reduction but better than the normal offers and great for lazy lunch for DS2. More quality street orange bars for 13p. Plus picked up my elephant - very pleased :)

Glad to read your DS is on the mend troutabout :)

Absolutely! I love the stuff, cheap; expensive… I'm not fussy. You can add all kinds of things to it, and I do like to mix it up a bit…. its one of my favourite foods. Its generally my first and final meal of the day :D

Another porridge loving household here, ds3 has a bowl everyday before school and it does seem to help his IBS. As he is worse when not eating it, I am eating gluten free muesli which was a sub from the. udis glitch cooked as porridge, it has fruit in and is horrible as muesli but rather nice cooked with a bit of honey.

Still have my Dad's number in my phone...can't delete:(

I totally understand this. I still have my Mum's home phone number listed as 'Mum and Dad's' in both my mobile and on the house phone. Even though she moved house she kept the number and I can't bring myself to change it :(
Strange to think it would have been my Dad's 60th birthday this year. Will have to do something special to mark it.
