We lost my Grandad 10 years ago and his flat cap is still in my Nan's magazine rack where he left it before he went into hospital. Nan takes it out to give it a dust every so often and puts it back:)
I was fortunate to see him the night he too slipped away in his sleep he was also brighter than he had been on previous hospital visits. :A
Sending a hug (()) to anyone who needs one today:A
same here, :A also love your story, it reminds me of my oh he says after he is gone his cap has to stay by the range where he leaves it so we remember him.:o
:owhen we brought our house the elderly gentleman whos brother and sister owned it but died, could not remove the walking sticks that his brother used to make from the rafters of the workshop, he said they had always been stored there, 15 years on they are still there, and it means so much to him we left them there and more that my ds2 works with wood and makes walking sticks using the old tools that his brother used,,,0 -

Sorry if this is old news but I note the Sanex is now £3.19 2 for 1 in T. Can anyone confirm whether the APG is picking this up please?
EDIT: Just checked my order from Sunday and it was N/A against T, so I suspect not. Ignore me!“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -

A lovely story.
I do believe that people live on through our own personal memories and certainly in characteristics in some individuals. My Grandad unfortunately never met the monkeys but there is a certain "cheeky twinkle in DD" that I see and recognise. They would have got on like "a house on fire". She certainly has his love of gardening and growing.
Pacifica9- not at all... Made me chuckle too:)
Troutabout:j fabulous news, glad he's home and recovering.0 -

Thankyou, were looking last night and Monarch were around 600 cheaper than anywhere else, but we were not sure about costa caleta couldnt find much about the area. Havent checked yet today.
It is split into 2 main areas or centres (5 mins max apart) and then more on the beach. There were loads of bars restaurants etc but it depends on what you want. If you want a rave it's probs not the best destination but a nice quiet week with good food and camels on the beach and beautiful scenery this is lovely.0 -

I won't be away as such but may skim and lurk some days when I don't have so much time because I'm job hunting
I do worry though that sometimes I annoy people if I waffle on too much about glitches that are obscure and not that great a saving because I know I annoy people in real life like this, so it's nice to know at least some people want my postsI apologise if anyone feels I've done this and also for moaning about my problems too much
Evangeline please don't feel like this hun. :A This is one place where you can be yourself.
The Elite have put up with my waffling (and the odd moan) for ages now but I don't think anyone gets annoyed well maybe Dotty sometimes but he is resident Victor Meldrew of the Elite.
Seriously though take care of yourself, good luck with the job hunting and pop in when you feel you want to. xxx0 -
Good morning. Did we know A give you £10 credit if you find out of date products instore? I know I didn't as otherwise I ciukd have made a fair but rather than helpfully telling staff
.
Coupon Mama (... participating in Elite activities under a pseudonym?) has pulled together 10 things that people may not know about A ... I am sure we could extend the list if we wanted to (but probably best not to make glitching that explicit).

I could have made a fortune the amount of OOD products I have found at my little store even bought a few without realising.
Thanks Anon will make it a mission.0 -
In RL I feel like this; although i know none of my family really understand the glitch stuff they do try and humour me, but ive spoken to friends about it and they look at me like ive gone nuts! Because its quite a big part of my life (too big perhaps), its hard not to talk about it to others, but i try to resist.
I do however feel here that its considered almost normal and we are a bunch of like minded folk.... But IRL i feel alone, and a bit of a black sheep.
You could have taken the words right out of my mouth.
I need to talk today about why I thought it was a good idea to order 9 boxes of Slim a soup in my Approved Food order.:rotfl:
