 I just noticed I had an exact 12,000 undeleted posts! (Saying "eek" as I now have 12,001:rotfl:.)

On my Sains shop - I don't know if this is useful - where I should have exceeded the cap by about 46p, I did consider replacing my final branded item (£1.50 vs £1) with £1.50 of Sains own brand stuff - irrelevant really as to what the items bought were, what I got there or if they were a 'rip off'. I'm glad that I didn't do that now - given that the BM would probably have been 50p lower and, in the end, have lost me more (from what I was to get back).

I got panicked:o:o:rotfl: earlier, as Sains have already now put the prices down on quite a number of items where A were much lower. A are still lower:rotfl:, on a lot of them, but certainly no good now for using the BM to get much more back:(. £20 spend (with cond.spend) - you need a lot of items that give at least 50% back and for some at least to outstrip that - as it's no good with many costing over £1 and being only 50p or a few pence cheaper in A - in order to maximise BM back to £10 attempt. As some items are £1.50 vs £1, they then need outstripping even more by A being better than half Sains. price on other items.

I thought S might put the prices down on items, and also that A might all of a sudden shoot back up.

Yip, always excited to see me :D We go out for a walk as soon as I get in and then he spends the rest of the evening on my lap, sometimes sitting bolt upright and blocks my view of the laptop stops me [STRIKE]catching up with the elite[/STRIKE] college work :D:cool:

That's me and Poppy walkies soon as I have greeted her and put kettle on. She doesn't sit on my lap but sits either on cushion by my side or in her bed. :D:D

Just wanted to show an example of Morries multi savers coming off on whoopsies, this was DH's and he went through a manned till! I said go through SS next time in case they over ride it.
    [...]

Overriding. Um. This reminds me - a totally different point (so probably skip this useless SB post again:rotfl:) - yesterday those Dishwasher Cleaners that had the old 2 for £5 SEL - the customer in front of me slowed me down:(. She had a lot of reduced clothing - and, silly dear, noticed one had gone through at full price instead of the reduction. She then piped up (:(:( I thought as it was now going to take ages until I was served), had the SA manually change the price. Then - the till needed a supervisor to be called and to come over and approve the override:(. It took ages:( - all it needed was for her to just let it go through and pay and then for her to go to the CS and be gone whilst I got served.

:(I did eventually get through the till, and, once at the other end and on my way out of the store having already paid, sadly I noticed that the mbuy hadn't been given:rotfl:.

I'm fed up of my job again and looking for another job :o My boss is driving me batty and I'm struggling to work with her but I'm also worried that if I change it will be a case of "out of the frying pan and into the fire" as has happened for me in the past :(

What I'm thinking is that if I can get a new job I can pretend to be off sick at my current job while I try out the new job to see if I like it before handing in my notice :oDoes anyone know if there may be any consequences I haven't thought of with this idea? TIA
What, other than both employers finding you are dishonest and both sacking you ? That might be a first actually.

    Instant noodles 20p
    Smartprice water/lemonade 17p
    Instant custard 15p
    Tins new potatoes 15p
    Strawberry whip dessert 17p
    Tins carrots 19p

And remember when the mushy peas were 4p
    Good old days

Yes, indeed, I remember that - and still haven't forgotten it on my list:rotfl:.

SP Soups at 17p, Batter Mix at 7p, even SP Bran Flakes at 64p, those were the days!

EDIT: Plus I remember several SP items that have now been discontinued...thus having us to have to get the standard range and pay a lot more. SP Bandage - now have to get Bandage at 80p. SP Choc Mousse seems to have gone too - now maybe those expensive Aero Mousses at 50p:rotfl: (though I must say I do prefer the Aero Mousses, in terms of their quality, even though the total lack of quality:D is good enough for me!:rotfl:)

Did anyone leave Coop bank with previous switching offers and not currently have a current account with them? New £100 switching offer available to new customers (who did not have an account with them in October 2014 - £42 cashback on TCB too :) plus £25 for charity - also available to existing customers if you have not paid in £800 per month for 3 months prior to 1/10/14.

Most employers will ask for a reference from your current employer, which would blow your cover somewhat!
Could be a bit weird with tax, and your P45 would be dated after you started work which may be complicated.

Yes, doomed to fail as you have to legally notify sickness (depending on sickness arrangements, there may be sick pay involved), tax involved at both locations, and living a lie you may get caught out, get fired for gross misconduct etc and then not be able to get a reference from your current employer (whether you would want one or not) and forever put "Terminated" as the reason for leaving employment on future applications

    ... and breathe.

Just saying - a bad idea!

Thanks, I'd better not then, OH said similar and said it was another of my hairbrained ideas :p

I'll still look around though and if I'm offered something else I'll have to make a decision if its worth moving on. I hate making decisions :undecided
