Hi there - not caught up, I was around earlier in the day but had to go off and do RL so didn't get to popping in and replying to what I wanted to reply to (:eek:that's a threat from me to go back and reply to all that's gone now:eek:) - there's things I could have done before 5pm but didn't and can't be done today now but that's another story.

I'm just seeing a spreadsheet of SP items appearing. Totally wrong btw as regards a lot of items showing N for M:rotfl:. I'll quote it and highlight all the missing M prices.

Sains. BM didn't quite work just now for me. It gave £9.25 instead of £10, so 75p less than what it 'should' have done. I broke the cap by 46p:eek:, so actually lost £1.21.

:rotfl:I rang them earlier about £10 worth of points that they had credited twice, and they told me to keep them too. (You may remember last time I had £15 worth of points more, but managed to reduce that to £13 by not bothering with a non-compare on some Young's Lighted Coated Fillets £4 vs £2.) I had another £4 off £20 cond.spend, so I did use last time's £10 BM plus the Nectar points and £4 off an exact £20 shop. Was thinking I could just go £10 BM and £10 points, but then the cond.spend off thwarts that:rotfl:. "Not happy" that it was £4 off and not £5 - of course I can only spend in £2.50 amounts - so having to give them £1 cash:eek::rotfl:. Really not the way.

But it would be either that or doing a £21.50 shop (£10 BM + £7.50 points + £4 cond spend) and then getting only the same BM back, in theory. I shouldn't have been so successful with my BM last time:rotfl:. But then that's spending £2.50 more (albeit in points) rather than £1 cash. Spend £1 cash or £2.50 points?

I chose to keep those £2.50 points, although I never see them, in real money, and they're always with them aren't they?:(:rotfl:

As to the BM "shortfall", I reckon it's this:

    http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml?cmpid=ahc-_-ghs-sna1-_-asdacom-dsk-_-hp#/search/quorn%20bbq%20chicken%20fillets%202%20166g

They call them just "Quorn BBQ Fillets" on sains.co.uk rather than "Chicken Fillets" - not that sains.co.uk descriptions have anything to do with BM, I don't know, although they do seem to me to have some bearing perhaps.

I wonder if my Drumstick Lolly compared to the huge lolly in A:rotfl:.

:(I see that that is now 33p:eek: - I thought was 25p last time I saw it (when T PP was shown to compare against it). So that's probably lost me 25p, plus the difference on the Quorn £1.02. £1.27, not quite. Wonder what it is then? Probably me calculating my excess of the cap incorrectly:rotfl:.

It does seem maybe avoid the 10p Swizzels Drumstick Lolly if doing a BM shop.

Oh well - I'll just spend less next time:rotfl::rotfl::j:rotfl:.

Savvy...I usually have to avoid the 10p swizzles drumstick lolly too when doing a BM shop or indeed as a filler at all....last time I bought one it took off a crown on my tooth...so ended up costing me more at the dentist than it was ever intened to save me whilst shopping.

%May compare to M at 20p on the APG occasionally (I've no idea what this S/P list is for btw:rotfl:), if they pick up the 40p price on the 1L version in M and link it to the 500ml SP one. It has been known to happen. I haven't seen it happening for a while now, but it has happened at least two or three times.

    ) M's version, and indeed T's, is non-comparable for a technical reason.

*Maybe, maybe not. Last seen in only one store two weeks ago:rotfl:, may be M have stopped producing their version (how can we ever tell?:rotfl::rotfl::()

+0.29 in M but, as far as I'm aware, this has not been comparing on the APG for several months.

^Note T price to be adjusted downwards (T slightly larger size).

&Note this one seems risky on the APG - maybe Cream of Chicken vs Chicken - some Ms appear to no longer stock this version (like the store in Buxton, Derbyshire nowhere near where I live (oops, narrowing it down:rotfl:) did not stock Savers Veg Soup two years ago:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. APG returning N/A although my stores had it. NB: I haven't seen any suggestion that Buxton has ever been a price collection store - I just happened to be there for the day.)

£Called "Pasta Twists" in M but have been seen comparing from A's SP Pasta Shapes.

$M are not "New" Potatoes but they have been comparing on the APG more recently.

+M may be discontinuing - I have stock now in only one store and it appears to be diminishing each time. I think tomorrow is the final check for this before, if I see no stock, I will remove it from the M list.

    I'm running out of symbols:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Some, where M is not the absolute best price to compare against, I have no information about the M price as I don't bother with these items and no intention of checking every one of them tomorrow:rotfl:.

Most importantly - what's happened to SP Cola?:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening :)

Oh, he loves hugs :) He seems to be permanently under my arm, half on my lap. "Hug a Bub" is the phrase we use. Think he misses me when I go to college - he sits for hrs just looking out the front door :(

    Sorry I called him a girl :o

Poppy also loves her hugs :)

Hope he gets used to you going to college and comes away from the front door. Does he greet you when you get home ?

Poppy turns into an helicopter and makes funny noises when I open kitchen door and she sees me you would think I had been gone a week :D

And there was me, when I was nearly going to have to go down to about 6 different 10p items, to spend the absolute minimum possible and get the best BM - before they then gave me £15:rotfl: - going to have to use that as the sixth different 10p item available in the store. I prefer to use straight 10ps as can calculate the amount precisely to the nose, rather than loose veg. that I always pick up too much of.;)

Without the Drumstick, now down to 5 filler items:( for when I've really ran the BM down and it's nearing its end.
