Back home now. Just wanted to thank FC for the comparison on the Activias, lovely filler
also to TM for the heads up on the porridge, I had no idea this was giving such a great comparison. We get through loads of this stuff. Yes, you're right it's in a blue cannister, not stocked in my ex netto but was in my larger store
Hope the comparisons help:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -

I hope that everyone who is using the activia yogurts as a filler in their shopping is also remembering that they are also on TMF....plenty of promotional packs around....

I have been having a read through the thread on the health and beauty section about not buying unnessary toiletries and wonder if I should join them....does anyone here post there?
then it seemed that actually they do seem to buy quite a bit of stuff...and expensive too....so I actually wonder if I would fit in with them as whilst a great deal of what I have is probably branded its mostly in unbranded packaging and didnt cost me vast sums of money.....I think i'm controlling my cravings far better than I ever used to but even though I still have far too much I cant let go of what I have.
Are they a friendly bunch over there or am I just best sharing my cravings with the moneysaving elite here who at least seem to understand the need to "hoard" items....
Whats put me off going over to the other thread is they seem to talk about getting rid of things but once they have used them they seem to be replacing them with equally expensive products that presumably they are buying rather than wombling from various sources.
I'm on the other thread too, very friendly bunchpop in and see for yourself
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Thanks asset...I read a few pages earlier and wondered if it was the place for me or not...but I might give it a go....I dont intend to "buy" toiletries this year but I need to have my regular fix of freebies whilst using up what I have....currently housed in a large suitcase!
I may pop over in the next few days...frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

bubbs looks lovely I want to give her a big hug :A
Oh, he loves hugsHe seems to be permanently under my arm, half on my lap. "Hug a Bub" is the phrase we use. Think he misses me when I go to college - he sits for hrs just looking out the front door
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
