Slightly off topic but... Just found out from my DS today that, due to the court costs associated with "decluttering" my ex in September, he didn't tell me he needed to pay some college fees when he started his second year. He's just had a reminder letter as he was going to pay for them himself and had forgotten. It's the deal here that I take care of all things educational, but he didn't want to put me under more stress. I was so touched! So today won't be an NSD, but for the very best of reasons. :)

76-95: 20 dud audio cassettes and their boxes - bin :T
Found an audio cassette of my family from when they sent me taped messages when I was working in Europe in 1989, including a precious recording of my darling Nan who died in 1993. :A Very happy with that - worth venturing into the loft for that alone.

Awww...that's a lovely thing to find. Can you get it transferred to a digital recording to keep it safe?

It is lovely when the decluttering yields some treasure like this :)

I have been tackling the bedlinen today:

3 Single fitted sheets to CS
    2 Pillowcases to CS
    1 Duvet cover to CS
    4 Cushion covers to CS
4 Mangled cushion pads to RC
2 Very holey pillowcases to RC

I can actually see what I have in the cupboard now, although I should probably reduce it some more. No treasure for me but I did find a sheet that I had been looking for for ages!

Yesterday I got rid of some plastic things off the wall in the shower room (shaver and scrunchie holders maybe) and a load of empty tubes and bottles.

Hope you all have a successful weekend of decluttering and thank you for the inspiration.

got rid of another 1 1/2 load of stuff to church for tomorrows jumble sale - 1/2 a car load from here dropped off on the way to Dad's house and another full load on the way home of my Mums things. far too many items to count!! We still have a further large hall of new/unused and gift items for the Christmas fair at the end of the month but that will wait until nearer the time. There were loads of jigsaws and i could only fit half of them in the car, so left half of them for another time. One of the ladies at church who is involved with the elderly and disabled club asked if she could have the jigsaws for the club bring and buy stall and took those she will also happily take the others - as jigsaws are are very popular items with the club members.
So got rid of quite alot of bits and pieces today.
Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"
