    Hi all

Haven't posted for a while but have done a bit of decluttering. Sorted through my sons' clothes and braved their room while they were away for the week. They are back now and have gone through their video games and books etc. I am planning on doing a carboot on Sunday so hopefully lots of stuff will go then. The grass badly needs decluttering but the lawn mower isn't cooperating :(

Not feeling brilliant this weekend but have managed to:

    * Drop off a broken mobile and charger in a local mobile phone shop for recycling.
    * Take 2 cardboard boxes to Mr T's recycling
    * Sort out some of our mail which have been either filed or shredded
    * 2 broken leverarches have gone in the bin

Off to do the ironing now.

Had a massive clear out today from the boxes under the bed in the spare room.

Box full of ty beanies, a large stuffed mario teddy, two sets of curtains from our recent move no longer needed, a king set of bedding, about 15 books, loads of play doh cutters, playlets and a few toys and board games plus a massive load of outgrown girls clothes and a few bits I no longer wanted of mine.

Plus 28 auctions on eBay with 4 sold so far. One is a large bundle of girls clothes that is all packed up ready to send.

hey guys well done on the decluttering, I tend to come and go,currently closer to being a hoarder than a minamilist
as someone who works in a charity shop I think its worth mentioning the things that can be recycled
old rags, handbags and shoes - easier if labelled as such so we don't have to look through - goes to the rag man
old books - go to book donars
glasses , ready readers - specsavers etc will take
old used stamps , ink cartrages
    mobile phones

some (not all) charity shops get electrical items pac tested before selling so its worth checking before donating . The british red cross for example does - at a cost of £5 per item - for some lower value goods like cheap kettles etc its not worth their while doing so the item may go to waste . in some ways I think its good that they test for safety but these items would be better going somewhere that doesn't test.
£365 a year spend challenge - this has included food/clothes/beauty?? who knows where I am
    20,000 step a day challenge

    Better buying habits, less clutter.
Consider carefully before splashing the cash.
    Rotate your things.
    Borrow or swap.

We all are doing so well, trying our best to bring lasting order to household chaos.
    We can conquer clutter!

The last few years our family has had a Spring declutter.
Decluttering does not happen overnight. We take a few weeks looking at diffrent area's. moving stuff. making a pile of unloved or no longer needed.
Passing things on, car booting or CH. Recycle bin or trash.

This morning DD got rid of some clutter @ a carboot sale. Yea!
Our hall is now more spacious. The declutter pile is GONE!
    Space is made :0)

Still have some more cupboards to scrutinize. Take a look in.
This Afternoon, I looked over a book shelf unit. Not much to toss. I did find a old yellowing photo album no longer needed. Photos ripped up and book in the bin.

Neatness counts, we are all moving forward in our own way.
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)
