I currently have 2 UU's

- Soap and Glory Scrub em and leave em. WMBA I have another tub of this however the beads in this scrub seem to get everywhere and I end up finding them stuck to my skin long after my shower.

- Lush Big Blue Bath Bomb. WNBA the seaweed in this gets all over the place and sticks to the bottom of the bath.

Hopefully there will be a lot more UU's over the month from me as I work through my massive stash.

Hello and welcome Hepburneyes.
You don't have to make a list, it's voluntary. Some of us set up 'Project Pan' or PP, lists each month, the list being of toiletry items you would like to use that month. ('Hitting pan' being what happens when you nearly use up an eyeshadow or blusher).
Others just list outs and ins. With more outs than ins, ideally.

To set up a signature click on User CP (Control Panel) at the top of the page, and then Edit Signature in the list on the left of the screen. Enter your text as you would a post on the screen that appears and save the changes. Hope that helps.

Morning all, thank you for starting the thread and the year off for us dolly.
Will post my list up once I'm back on the puter I can't get the hang of much more than basic stuff on my iPad ( Christmas pressies from Dh) I need to add my Christmas pressie ins, but I'm planning that due to the amount of stuff I have I won't actually have any adds this year other than gifts or freebies as I really don't need to buy anything.

I added up all my ins for December last night and the amount I have spent and it was horrible. I do not need to buy anything at all for a few months and really will only need a couple of things throughout the whole year.

I have two remaining sales orders to arrive and a beauty box then I am done with the ins for a while.

Happy new year everyone!

I'm back in again for another year (been AWOL for a while but still very much working on the stash). This will be my third year on the thread (started in March 2012).

Last year my stash list went from 257 to 168 - I used/threw/gave away a total of 90 products last year and took on 23. Not as good as my 2013 final tally but I'm actually getting into the bare bones of my stash list now so things are taking longer to use up and I'm having to replace items now. I've changed my attitude towards buying aswell, and that's even more important. So I think I'm doing really well.

Welcome to the newbies, this is a lovely thread full of supportive people and that really makes a difference when you're trying to reduce your stash.

I hope you don't mind me joining you.

I have so made a commitment to reduce the excess "stuff" I have this year, mainly toiletries, books, clothes and crafting supplies. I have a plan in place for books, another for clothes, am making more time to craft (without buying more supplies) so that leaves my lotions, potions, creams, powders, perfumes and cosmetics.

I can't make a list at this point, there's just so much of it. I know why I overbought, I had really low self worth. I have tackled this and so I don't feel any more that I need the latest wonder product to make me feel good, I just need to work my way through all the previous buys.

I intend posting my ins and outs honestly and in full. My aim is to reach a point when I have one of each item in use and one in reserve, not enough in stock to last several years. The only things I intend buying are those I really need and any glitchy deals I just can't pass by.

My stash count at the turn of the year was 289, however this includes makeup for the first time (107 items). This was a real wake-up call – does one person really need 26 lip glosses – half of them Juicy Tubes?! I need to get into the habit of using these more, and might try to sell some.


My cavernous bathroom cupboards are now full to the rafters… I really shouldn’t need to buy anything other than deo, dental care and shave gel (none of which I count here) for at least the next year – most likely longer. I’d love to say that I won’t partake of the Boots 70% sale but I know better than to commit to that by now, despite not *needing* anything hopefully I can at least be more sensible with my purchases this year!

I've been doing this is the background for at least a year, and have decided to join in the fun on the thread.

other than the essentials (deo, toothpaste etc) I need to buy very little this year due to the items I have in my stash. For me, the challenge is as much about decluttering as it is about saving money.
