Will do, need to chat about the AA reward as the AA are convinced it doesn't include home start (and are charging us for it
) but the bank account says its included.
Only discovered this when adding our phones so they're covered. Thank goodness I looked!£1k emergency fund (#33) £140/£1000 10.4%

I am sure OH's account covered AA but think it is RAC, and I think we get a better deal with AA then the free RAC Cover.
Also, was reading somewhere, that if you have an account that you pay a charge on, and you get extra benefits, if you didn't know that you had to register for the extra benefits, ie register your mobile phone details with them, you can claim back the charge for the account. Will have to find details later and post them.0 -
Had some nice post today which included a final bill for my gas account, 'we owe you £53'
My electric company owed me £96!! but that was last month so cant count that
Should be here on monday so I'll add it then.

Off to a start - £3.00 Instant Win :-)
Just before Christmas I received a demand for £360 from EDF energy - completely out of the blue - haven't been with them since 2011! Turns out they were trying to charge me for energy they say was used in 2011 - the demand I received in December was the first I'd heard about it - to my knowledge I cleared my account when I left! I challenged it and got a call today to say they are waiving it because they billed more than 12 months after the energy was used. I'm not convinced I ever really owed the money so won't add it but to EDF's mind they have given me £360 of free energy. Thankfully I don't have that hanging over my head any longer. Posted mainly to encourage people to challenge if anything like this ever happens to them.Shifting my energy for 20200 -

Hi, I'm new the forums... Been lurking for awhile! I'd like to join this challenge please- I'm going to try for £10 a day, looking to pay off my credit cards.
I'm on maternity leave currently so any extra cash is definitely welcome! I've been plugging away at the surveys over the last few days so hopefully I'll see some results before the month is out. I'm also expecting a payout from a freelance job I did before Christmas sometime around the 16th January which is set to be a minimum of £200 so hitting this months target is looking promising but I'm not taking that money for granted until it's in my account!!!
Looking forward to sharing some more money making ideas. I've definitely got some eBay bits to list and I've seen a few apps mentioned that I think I will look into.Make £10 a day January Challenge £313.70/£310
