Question for those that do daily MAGS comps

I'm looking at changing the way I do comps in 2015 to try and actually win something!! I thought about twitter but I don't really get it and I've read that you have to enter thousands and the prizes are rarely big so I'll give that a miss...

I always bypass the daily MAGS ones posted, but I wondered how much success peeople have with them? For those that do them, do you enter them daily until they close or just enter once or twice? And has anyone ever won any BIG prizes with these types of comps?

Also, are there any of these post to be avoided due to spam, not winning etc etc. Just looking at the pros and cons and could do with some advice.

Thanks very much :) Will also be doing a seperate post about pinterest too if anyone has any knowledge/tips :)

Some people enter every day, some enter sometimes, some enter once only - and all of these have posted on this subject before to say they've won from doing it their way. I know someone who recently won a very nice prize from a once only mag daily entry so it's definitely possible. I won a hamper last year from one - and I know I only entered that once as well. I've also entered other mag dailies practically every day and won zip so I've changed the way I do it to entering as many as I can but once only. You'll have to find the way that suits you but I'd say they're definitely worth entering.

  • I do the Daily Mags but not the click to wins. Have done them religiously almost every day since this time last year when the advents finished and I felt I had the time.. but only those prizes that I would be happy to receive. If I take a good run at them they would probably take me an hour but I tend to bite them off in chunks over the day. For the 1st 6 months I won Zilch but since July I've had at least 1 win from them each month. Ok not the biggest of prizes but I was lucky enough to win an ipad in Nov on them. At the moment I feel if I compare the amount of time I put into all the other comps from the main board (ticket wins aside, not a lot this year) againt the time invested in the Daily Mags I'm going to stick with them as I think either the odds are better or Ive just been luckier with them.
  • i havent won on any mag dalies and do them every day-not that im trying to put u off i still think my win will turn up!

I started to do the dailies this time last year. I only ever enter for things that I want and they are either things that I'd quite like, in which case I enter once and leave it to luck or things that I'd absolutely love to have in which case I enter every single day. I haven't won.....yet :rotfl:
    2024 £72, 2023 £2230, 2022 £300, 2021 £1800, 2015 £3790, 2014 £4460
  • I enter them but only once I don't keep going back.
  • I do the mag dailies & have won some good prizes off them - however I went 6 months without winning & then I won about half a dozen in 2 months & nothing since

Does anyone share these...does it really give an extra entry?
Thanks to all those fab compers who post:j:T
  • I did the mag dailies every day for about 3 months and won 1 thing, a stationary pack with a nice pack of craft scissors. It was a nice win but not really worth every single day spending 2 hours going through each magazine doing the mag daily. I also don't have the time to do that and enjoy spending 2 hours on the main board instead. I do them occasionally when I am bored, but don't bother with them as much as I used to.

I do the mags dailies but only for the prizes I want as there are loads! For me, wins with these comps tends to come like buses - none for a few months then 2, 3 or even 4 all at once! Their current prizes are really good so I have stuck at them, even during the Advents! :)
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
