I think this is actually standard with any breakdown recovery company's. I do that National Breakdown and AA charge. I think they also charge if you get a flat and no spare. I personally wouldn't have risked that going through some parts of wales.

If you get a flat and have a flat spare, or no spare they don't come out at all...

My other half and her friend were charged £90 call out although they are rac members for running out of diesel in some remote part of wales. i was shocked when she told me so just a warning to others

Can you imagine how much the RAC would have to charge for annual membership if members didn't have to pay for a call out that was, essentially, their own fault?

After the index is a definition of words - check the first "Breakdown" - running out of fuel is not a mechanical or electrical failure, so by definition is surely not covered by the BREAKDOWN service.

Once guy asked "do they have a TGI's in Wales'. I said "no, they dont, TGI food is processed and genetically modified which enevitably will end up giving you deseases, so the Welsh assembly refused TGI's however you can get a TGI's in Bristol "

..err, you know there's a TGI's in Swansea, right...?

(sorry, slightly OT, I know :))

Have to say, if I was dumb enough to run out of fuel, I'd be happy enough to pay for someone to come and help me...

Just pointing out that I don't think any cars nowadays don't have a clear "running out of fuel in about a gallon" warning light - which is a very long way in a diesel car.
