Package holiday cancelled flights

Hi.
Could someone advise please?
Have booked a package holiday to a Disney hotel in Florida.
Airline has cancelled our flights and offered a full refund of flight costs only, upfront payments to Disney are not refundable (I think it's about £150pp x 4 people).
Travel agent is offering new flights with different carrier but supplement is required (£32pp).
Can I get ALL of my money back?
Can I claim compensation from the airline (US Airways)?
Thanking you in advance.

if you booked a package and the disney costs were included in the package you should be able to get a refund for everything from whoever you booked through0

when are you due to travel. Compensation is due if you are travelling in the next 14 days. You should push for a reroute rather than refund (EU261 states reroute or refund)
If the flight is within the next 14 days, read Vauban's guide in the Sticky (the Read this before Posting thread at the top of the board) re making claim0 -
Thanks.
I'm due to travel in July.
The travel agent has offered a new airline with a different stopover location but there's the £32pp supplement.0 -
If it is a genuine package, and from what you say I suspect it isn't, have a look at the ATOL Certificate you got when you paid your deposit, it is up to the organiser of the package to replace the flights at no additional charge or offer a full refund of everything. If you have 'accidentally' bought a flight plus arrangement, then you have separate contracts for each of the elements in your holiday and no contract with the organiser as such. However US Airways, now part of American Airlines has not stopped flying nor so far as I am aware have they cancelled flights out of the UK and not likely to do at peak season, I suspect the agent never made the booking in the firsts place, or missed a deadline to issue tickets and is looking for a way out if the original flight prices are now a lot higher. I would check with the airline before offering to pay any more0
