Another spendy thing going on today, fruit, veg, that sort of thing, just enough till payday. Tonight we are having chilli con carne (no kidney beans so soaked and cooked cannelini beans instead), rice, red cabbage slaw, tomato and pepper salsa, crackers and creme fraiche and grated cheese. Home made fruit cake and custard for afters. That should fill up the resident gannets..One life - your life - live it!0

Stop moaning, Igor, told you to dress warmly for going ashore in Russia. Now you have frostbite on your frostbite, it will take a while for the circulation to return to your fingers, perhaps I should give your apologies to the kitchen staff and say you won't be able to show them your method of cooking your famous Brussels sprouts curry. I am sure they will be able to handle the disappointment. No that is not the sound of champagne corks popping, people cheering and music playing, they just have the telly on in the kitchen, that's all.....One life - your life - live it!0

Hi all

Good evening fellow passengers, hope you are enjoying tonight's meal, especially as Igor's sprout curry is off the menu at present.
Tonight there will be a slave auction in the Grand Ballroom. For those who are not familiar with slave auctions, volunteers dress up as slaves and offer services e.g. wash your car, cook a meal, a night's babysitting, an hour's gardening etc. Each slave is auctioned off and the proceeds go to charity.
Tonight's proceeds will go to Swedish Chef's favourite charity, the Sunshine Home for Demented Chickens.
As always, when making your way around the ship, go carefully, on account of the ever-increasing weight of the Cauldron of Doom. I am sure the ship will stay afloat long enough for us to finish the cruise, and we are not far from the end now, calling in at Finland tomorrow, Sweden the day after then a couple of days sailing round Norway. Hopefully we can drop off the various animals Hubert picked up en route, before Igor gets ideas about his next curry recipe. One life - your life - live it!0 -
