Thankfully apart from a light smattering of dandruff yesterday morning, no snow in this part. :D if I didn't need to be out and about, I'd love it, but snow would not be convenient atm.

Talking of snow, must look out my outfit for our arrival at the North Pole today...no pole is safe from my shimmy's :rotfl:

    Last I heard,you were doing a synchronized performance with Hubert ?! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    He obviously has hidden talents......

Tsk, he was supposed to keep that a secret, but yes, we are going to do a doubles performance, for a four legged donkey, he is amazingly agile around the pole. It brings out a whole other side to him. And of course, he loves the fact he can wear his pink Pleaser shoes.

:hello: Happy Sunday all NSDers xxx

I'm at work today (during daylight hours) but have managed to have a quick catch up, wow everyone is doing really well this month :T

Kerri.........errm 'pleaser shoes' I don't know why but the name worries me slightly :rotfl:

Cheexy- I am a bit A!di fan too.

CW- I used to use a backpack for all my shopping. It does make life easier doesn't it. I use one when I'm going up to mum's to visit too as it means I don't have to lug a heavy bag to the station; I leave some clothes up there and take minimal. Except the last two journeys when I was carting Christmas stuff up there and back but don't need to now :)

Right............Well I had my spendy day on Friday, did the dentists. I am going to be having to be looking at a new plate soon as the tooth that this one 'clips' onto is getting wobbly :(. Cheapest will be the NHS one at nearly £300 . I didn't like those ones before as they dig into the top of my mouth but she explained that at least with those they can add an extra tooth to them which they cant with the type I've got now (which would cost over £500:eek:. How I regret all those sweets and levering off of beer bottle tops in my misspent youth now! Still just for Friday it didn't need doing so I only got stung for the £18.50 charge. Still I guess I'd better start saving :(

Took the opportunity to go to A!di and then went in for team meeting. I had to go in for a few hours at 9.00 too as they emergency shelter has opened (when temp is going to be a minus figure for a minimum of three days) and she wants me to be a part of that as I've done it before (and bless her to claw back some of the overtime I lost I think lol) and needed a little refreshing on the booking in procedure so I grabbed a few hours kip in the chair then went in till 12.00.

Consequently I was shattered!!!!!! so on Saturday morning I rang and told the hairdresser I was poorly and couldn't get in and that I would re arrange later so that led to an unexpected number 9 on Saturday :).

Best bit is as I missed it they have e mailed me a £5.00 off voucher for my next appointment :rotfl:

Today I am in doing overtime and have not bought any cash or cards with me so am declaring number 10 :j

I am in London but have already bought my ticket (advance with an extra few quid off) and so will keep spending minimal but may need to get a coffee.

Will be back in on Tuesday.............keep at it everyone :D

    Thanks! :)

kathy yikes to the dentist's bill.I take it you'll be doing a lot of overtime for the next wee while?
  • That is my last post, promise.

I've been meaning to ask for a few days: any thoughts on a theme for February?

The obvious one is Valentine's Day?We could go on another holibob jaunt...skiing maybe? We could go snorkelling off The Great Barrier Reef,go on safari.....oh,blimey,Igor has just shouted eureka. He can't wait to premier his new safari suit.It shows off his best figure to a T;his best feature being his knees,of course. What else? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Can anyone top my safari idea? The Swedish Chef has some great recipes to try out...wildebeest and aardvark smorgesbord anyone?
