  • Good morning all! :hello:

I hope that you all slept well and have locked up and stashed away all your money and cards, ready to embrace another nsd!Go us! :money: :j :D

You have been a busy lot: four pages to catch up on!! :money:
I see that you all must be thriving on the fine foods offered by the 'Chicky-Ferret Catering' company (that's Igor and The Swedish Chef).Igor, quick, keep those ferret and pilchard chutney sarnies coming please!:eek:

I'm pleased to say that this is the first morning since flittin' (moving house, for the benifit of any non-Scots out there) that I have woken up not feeling like death warmed up.My cold also feels a lot better. :)

That's enough for now.I've got to tackle the front page. :)

Good morning NSD gang, and hello marmite - and glad you are feeling a little less like death warmed up......talking of death warmed up, must go and grab a bacon and egg fry up from the Stuffyermush Cafe on deck 7........another day at sea but we will soon glimpse those splendid Norwegian fjords. There will be ski lessons today, organised by Igor (strangely enough, more of the ship's crew have gone down with food poisoning since CFC took over the catering - they obviously don't have our cast iron constitutions).

Why ski lessons, you ask? Because when we arrive at Norway there is a ski excursion for those who fancy zig-zagging up and down the fjords.
For those not so keen, there is prize bingo in the Last Chance Saloon Bar. Swedish Chef is calling the numbers so pin your ears back......every number he calls will have something chicky attached to it.....And all the prizes are chicky or ferret related...after all, it is the Chicky Ferret Catering Company aka CFC (advertising slogan "CFC - as in fridges but twice as deadly...")

What a drag having to get up so early for work today:mad: It's always an anti climax after Christmas and having time off.

A small spendy day for me yesterday as I needed to top up my Oyster card. I don't use it very often (the occasional bus which my annual ticket doesn't cover) and didn't realise the balance was so low. Decided this was preferable to using my Barclaycard for the odd journey to maximise my NSDs and maintain reducing the balance.

I am declaring 4 for today early as I don't need anything and even if I did I would go without :)

    Hello!

I'm new to the forums but have lingered here for awhile and taken advantage of everyone's excellent experience and advice... Have decided that 2015 is the year that I must pay down the debt, bulk up the savings account, and just generally get a handle on my finances and my spending.

With that in mind, I'd love to join in this NSD challenge please, Marmite! Please could you put me down for 10 NSD in January with 2 in a row? I'd be ever so grateful.

Thanks for this, cheers, and looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better- and to making a much needed savings this month.
