Right okay let's say some people are lucky enough to get 3-4 search wins each day. Some of us not one of them. I rarely get 2 wins a day sometimes i dont even get 1. I know few others in the similar situation.
It comes down again that search wins are random.ally.0 -

If a search doesn't come through after a few searches, I try again a few minutes later. I find I space my searches and can get three a day

Each search period lasts for one month and during that month, 75,000 swagbucks are available as 'random' prizes and draws occur hourly throughout the day.
The searches are random, in that anyone can be awarded one at any time.
The following is taken from the official rules.
Each legitimate search constitutes an entry, but you must enter a different search term for each entry, a computer-automated prize selection system will randomly determine which search entries will receive a Prize icon..
Searches that are not deemed by the Sponsor to represent legitimate use of the Search Services will void ALL entries.
Such non-legitimate uses include searches for letters of the alphabet, random numbers, or other irrelevant search queries, searches for the same word or phrase any other searches which do not appear to represent a legitimate use of the Search Services.
So from what I understand from the rules and after clarifying from Swagbucks, if you search a term that the 'system' does not deem legitimate, your entries are voided up to then, putting your chance of winning back to zero.
Example, you make 9 legitimate searches. This means you have 9 entries in the next draw, which is going to be in 10 minutes. You search a few more times and you end up with 15 entries into the draw, but don't win anything.
The next round begins and you already have 15 entries.
This time, you have 87 entries and you have a good chance of winning. The draw occurs, and you do indeed win. 14 Swagbucks, for example.
And so it continues throughout the day in the 24 draws that take place.
It can be that you have gone 6 hours and not won anything because the system might deem your search terms to be void.
If you have gone 5 hours and have 190 terms all nicely in the system ready for the next draw, but then out of angst you type 'jhsfdjsfjklsf'
your 190 search terms are wiped out or if you search the next 20 times too quickly, the system will boot out your previous 'good' searches.
In my opinion, you will always get more out of the system if you use it as a genuine search engine rather than trying to get a win from it.0 -
QQO- can you provide a link to those rules please? I've never seen nor heard this in my life before. Maybe it was introduced with the Yahoo search engine?
Under the old system, I was able to get 3 search wins each and every day, provided I searched for them. Roughly morning, noon and night, but sometimes I could get 2 close together in the evening- if I was out in the day for example. In the last month, I've sometimes struggled to get 1 in a day, two is the most and 3 is a rare occurrence. I would like to know what they changed with the system because I've not changed how I search. Sometimes, I just cannot be bothered to keep trying because nothing is forthcoming.Minimalist
