Have brought enough xmas cards in the sales to last 2-3 years. Brought 10 metre wrapping paper from Wilko for a £1.

Started buying Xmas/birthday pressie in the sales on Boxing Day. People think I am crazy. I live on a budget and have no choice! Love this thread.

We don't think you're crazy! If you are then I'm crazy too! Same as you on a budget and so many to buy for. It's sensible to spread the cost AND I love bargains. Keep going!

I save £100 a month to cover all presents throughout the year, around £400 of which goes on Christmas!
Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.
  • I don't really celebrate holidays manly because I don't like how commercialized they are.
  • Wow you are an organised bunch!

Can I join in, I am not going to save a specific amount but I am going to try & buy a present a month & anytime I see something nice on the sales so that December for me is not the usual crazed shopping trip that is has been since I entered adult life (I am 31).

I've got £31 saved in my £1 a day tin so far. Haven't been able to get the stamps for Tescos this past 2 weeks as the machine hasn't had any  But I have the money set aside for when they eventually decide to refill it lol.
