    Well, to those that said it was automatic, you were right. Buyer did reply eventually and all sorted.


    ebay do like to make things hard, I thought when I gave up selling and only bought, ebay would be stress free.


    Why on earth does ebay start opening cases when the buyer and seller have concluded their business and the seller should be the one who opens the case with non payment, not ebay who don't have a clue what has gone on.

    The seller has set it up like this, sellers are offered the option. Ebay can only do as the seller has instructed.

    The seller could have marked it paid & then a case wouldn't have been opened automatically.

    I would have paid then claimed item not received.

    It's not happened to me, so I don't know but I could guess that if the buyer marks it as paid the seller won't know that he had to do it too to confirm it in the system.
