I changed mine too just to be on the safe side (and because i'm slightly paranoid after reading about itI seriously doubt Amazon has been hacked that would be major news. And they will have strong security as they would be a major target due to amount of customers they have. Still I changed my passwords for Amazon.com and Amazon.co.jp as a precaution.
