Day 12/28
Thursday..
Hey there mse world... if anyone is out there. im having a bad month...
personally I should say. All bills are paid for this month. looking forward to pay them again next month lol ( not ) but its what we have to do,
Ebay sales have helped me find some spare cash to put towards c. card bills this month... ebay sales have been coming through alittle this month.. hoping for more sales before the end of the month.. will be using ebay to put towards c cards. I want them gone..... gone baby gone. today I looked at my c cards then cut them up..... they are no more so I cant spend on them I cant use them at all.... and if that's the way to stop me then so be it....
Now looking at 100 different ways of making some money... need money to clear my debts. sick of the debts......
Have printed off my Experian credit report today. that's not a good read... hoping in the next three months to change the score... so will be working to that.... all the good things in life are not free....
frugally, I bought some veg and stuck it in the freezer. apart from that nothing as changed. now off to find ways of making some money....0 -

I am still here. quiet in my world.. still trying to pay the bills.. succeeding to stay afloat now that i,only work part time.. on a part time wage with full time debts....
So as you can see my my debt its reduced alittle over the last few months. I am trying hard to pay on time and have set up direct debits for the money to go out the bank account....
Im taking advantage of Ebay free listings etc so this is helping. slowly im turning out a few ebay sales.. I have quite abit on sale at the moment. so when sold I try and post same day... helps a lot...used ebay sales money last month towards gas and electric, im trying to save this months and pay it off one of my debts as a extra payment. my target this month for ebay sale is £100. so I will update to say if my target is met or not....
Spring is here it looks lovely in the garden, but I really love the sun when its warm so roll on summer... cant wait....
Ive been taking advantage of the super store bargins and freezing most of the finds... love to get a bargin.....
Off now to the post office...
catch mse world later much love and stop by when you can could do with a bit of inspiration....0 -

Hi Thriftywannabe,
well total debt is the credit cards. I don't count the mortgage as debt.... but the credit cards were £2600 to pay... im trying to get rid of them totally, so I plan to hit them like this....
1% = £26 so every 1% I pay off I change the percentage on my signature... since the end of January ive managed to pay off just over £200 so my new signature says 7. 8% almost 10% of debt gone.... I do have some money put aside from my Ebay sales this month already which im waiting till the end of the month to pay towards one of the cards as well as my normal standard payment.... im going full steam to try to pay the debt off but im only working part time at the minute... unlike I used too... thanks for dropping bye... xx.0 -
Hello MSE World...
I hate phoning the credit card company.. they put you through to so many people and ask you the same question every time. whats your name whats your address whats your account number... then pass you to some one else.... and again the questions start again.... all I wanted was a balance... grrrrrrrrrrr... if you work for such company it was probably me..... on the other end of the phone.... grrrrrr.
Anyway now ive up dated my signature.... its slowly slowly making a change to the debt. sure is small steps coming off.... could really do with seeing it look more lower....
I.ve been ebaying a bit this month to use the money for a extra payment towards the credit card debts. may be the next few months will start to show me difference... lets hope.
At least the sun is shining..... and the summer is coming so I will start to feel better.....0 -

Tuesday...
Hello there, its been awhile hasn't it... I really do need to log on more often... sometimes no time.. sometimes cant be botherd... I know I really need to be bothered as it is good motorvation for me to carry on.....
So things are good I guess. going to work every day as I should. helping my daughter with her job and extra pounds are helping..
Ebay is slow this last month.... I need to reshuffle I think all of my ebay items.. may do this today see how that works out for the end of the month..
Credit card debts have come down since jan.. from £2,600 to £ 2,200 so that's £400 off since end of Jan, I know I could reduce this even quicker so I'm going to try the snow ball effect I think... see if it really works, if any one has completed the snowballer please let me know and how you actually got on... would be very interested
thinking of xmas already for the kids and grandkids... is it too early to start getting things in order....0 -
Hi pantherchick
Well done for keeping your diary and motivation going - I have tried a diary a few times but always let it fall by the wayside - and I then find my debt creeping up again! I've got a similar debt to you - £3000 on a credit card - and I'm struggling to motivate myself. But you've inspired me to start my diary again so thank you!
I have a savings account that I put £20 a month in for Christmas, it's never too soon to start thinking about it.
Good luck xx0 -

Hi there.. never been a leader me, lol always a follower... probably that's why im in debt with these credit cards... good luck in your quest.. ive got on it now.... I check them online every couple of days. also if I have any spare cash or ebay sales I am now paying off the credit cards.. at least 1% so if my debt is say £899.21 I will pay £8.99 that's 1% gone.... this month I haven't any interest on one of my cards as im in front with the payments because of the small payments made... so when my monthly dd goes out... I will pay off all of the amount taken on that day... that's made me smile... its also made me want to attack attack attack... good luck pantherchick xx.0 -
18/30.
Saturday.
Hello I have told myself to log on to the forum. its a must now when im checking my credit card debts I shall check in..... become more regular...
I've just sold a item on ebay, yippee, first one in about 3 weeks, not sure why... is no one buying at the minute.... not a lot of payment received but ive transferred it into my bank and paid it out on to one of the credit cards... yay... another 1% gone... im happy this card is reducing in debt, due to the minimum payment already coverd this month so what ever I pay off it at the minute, it will reduce straight off the debt... worth doing.. made me feel a lot better...
im trying not to spend what I don't actually need and have been eating out of the freezer and the cupboard.. I intend to do this all week unless we need bread and milk, will shop next weekend at lidl..or aldi. and re fill the freezer stock.....
u
busy in the home re decorating. trying to do it cheaply and on a budget... im sure it will look nice in the end. no rush.
Jobs too do in the garden, grass cutting, shed painting and weeding, planting etc.. so will keep me out of the shops and give me exercise and fresh air....
still wonder if we should have sold the house at the start of the year, but cant live on ifs and buts. can always try again at some point.
I have a little cleaning job now. that's helping me with money. that's a great help with the debts. and the ebay sales when they come...
Off now.. keep motorvated and catch you soon . pantherchick.0 -

Hello Mse world, it is I pantherchick, I keep forgetting to log on . But I shall keep you all upto date with how I'm doing,.
I've just updated my signature, my debts I'm tackling, I pay the minimum and more off each credit card, I then pay off something I can afford, even if its just 1% of the debt of the card.. to me its off the card, I've tried getting a 0% card but got refused, alittle mad about that but heyho. So my total pay off since end of January is £600 pound, I'm pleased, that's a whopping 23% pf the £2,600 debt. My plan this month is to reduce the smaller debt, I'm planning on reducing it by £100 so I need to make some extra money this month..
I've been voucher/couponing but don't seem to find really great offers, if anyone know more than savvisavers please point me in the right direction.
Shopping at lidl saving me a bit at the moment also I've had a bash at making my own tomatoe based sauce from fresh veg, still check out my ßuperstore knock down food and buy and freeze. Got 4 packs of beef mince the other day for 20p a pack, all freezer friendly. Buying fruit and veg that's on offer or season doing me good. I'm watching what I eat too and have lost 8lb in two weeks. I'm walking more too, wearing my pedometer is helping...
Recently got two free tickets to a theatre show via a person who is in the show, what a great night out we had..
Ebay is slow, must revamp my items and load.
Life is getting better much love pantherchick xx.0
