Thanks so much for your replies guys. Definitely some good possibilities worth exploring! Menorca and Italy are first on my research list... Thanks again & Happy New Year x0

we flew with jet2 into Venice from Manchester and stayed at Pra delle torri campsite with eurocamp. Loved it! Although be sure to get A/C in your caravan.
Day trip to Venice and an overnight stop at lake Garda also taking in Verona worked well for us but your kids my be a bit little for that!
The campsite was great loads to do great beach and towns nearby to eat off site.

I've been to Majorca, specifically Pollensa, the last 3 times and although we love it there, we felt a bit like we'd exhausted it this year. I'd love to take my 2 kids away in summer school holidays next year but actually have no idea where I fancy going.
I did explore the possibility of Italy as I love everything Italian but we didn't think it would be too brilliant for our kids (aged 18months & 6yo) especially as there doesnt seem to be an easy way to get there from Manchester (our toddler is not great at travelling either). Our preferences are self catering, good kids pools, plenty of quality local eateries nearby (definitely NOT British and/or pubs though!) nice scenery and sunshine (but not ridiculously hot!) and direct flight from Manchester with no more than about 1 hour transfer to accommodation. Oh and reasonably priced as we're feeling the pinch a bit nowadays.
I'm not keen at all on Turkey, or the Canaries. I'm also a raver so Ibiza is definitely a no no as I go once a year without kids and wouldn't enjoy not being able to have a usual Ibiza holiday with kids there! Any one been.anywhere that could tick the boxes! TIA!
You can fly from Manchester to Bolonga with Ryanair as I'm thinking of doing the same in May. Hotels seem really cheap too. I looked through trivago to get the different prices but it seems really good price wise. Egypt is nice or somewhere like Salou? I went to Corfu to Sidari and they had entertainment each night at the pubs which was pretty good:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

I would recommend Benalamdena staying at the Benal Beach apartments. It as 5 pools there are lots of eateries and there is a wonderful park called Paloma, The kids would like the park as it as animals in it. There is a cable car up a mountain with birds at the top. There is a Dolphin park and wonderful beach.0
