    I have a top of the range home care plan.  Before 3 months ago I call them for one of radiator problem completely not heating and some of other radiators not warming up quickly, engineer turn up and he said that “complete system needs power flush” he didn’t do anything just ignored saying it ... (bought from Alidi infrared thermo meter £12) I had to fix it myself, I have blead the system and balanced the heating system all works fine, thanks for the youtube instruction.

    My boiler properly annually maintained by previous home owner, never had any boiler problem last 13 years it was install year 2010 

    However, I call them for annual boiler service and engineer suddenly visited today.

    He said, there is no water pressure in the boiler should be 1 to 2 Bar ..I said that yes there is no water pressure because this system is open vented working on gravity pressure system ..however I told him my boiler can be use as compact system or open vented ..

    he is look at it again and said that, “Boiler pressure release pipe not connected to outside extremely dangerous” and he refused to do the annual services  ..this boiler works fine 13 years and up to now  if excessive pressure should be released in to overhead tanks on the loft that is the principle of the open vented gravity system. Even if there is any pressure release in the boiler it should be released in to the cavity wall ..there is no danger to inside people..

    this is unprofessional, uneducated, unkind, unexperienced people real problem in the industry

    I was assumed he was going to complete turn off my gas supply because he have a power to do it..  he forgot to install boiler bottom cove (cowboy) job..

    Customer services completely useless and rubbish, they don't have any knowledge about there subject..

    I am really frustrated I can’t cancel the policy I have to pay for the remaining months, I have to find legal action to cancel this policy ..truly not recommending this company specially for over 60 elderly and all other people..

    Had a landlord emergency contract with them.
    Be very wary with this bunch of thieves.

    Mid contract they updated T&Cs  which despite clearly diagnosing a leaking toilet waste as the connect, ultimately caused them to charge me an access/investigation fee to remove the toilet pan to replace the connector. 
    This is on top of the callout/excess fee.

    How on earth could you repair a toilet pan connector without removing the WC pan first? yet they had to charge a specific fee for this.
    Would have been cheaper just to get a plumber in.

    Have subsequently switched to Direct Line or landlord insurance and landlord emergency cover, so far on 2 call outs they are amazing, fast/reliable/honest
