DVD ripper software?

Mine was a freebie from giveawayoftheday; I've not got that machine on at the moment, so I can't check right now.
After a whole day of downloads and trials I opted for Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate which cost £30 for the full program. It has a good menu system for selecting the playback device. I chose Samsung TV. After your mention of Samsung TVs I wanted to be certain it would work on both my LG and Samsung TVs. I uploaded a couple of my DVDs onto my laptop and was able to stream the MP4 film simultaneously to both my Samsung TV in my bedroom and on the LG in the lounge.
Ripping speed is around the same duration of the film Im ripping which I had hoped would be faster. Picture quality is as good as the original. It selects only the main feature film so file size is down to around 1.2gb from an original size of around 5gb.
The WD Mycloud should be delivered today so will get it up and running and check they stream ok from there before ripping my entire 300 DVDs collection.0
