That sounds like a good plan. That's the main word isn't it planning. Whenever I don't I wind up spending more.

Slim pickings lately, only had 1p in Morrisons the other day. On the plus side I was also using a £5 miles and more voucher and also picked up the free kettle chips and volvic juiced from the checkoutsmart app :D

I've just signed up to the app, I don't get how is it free though?!

Oooh, I've just come on to MSE properly and read this thread. Loving it. I had no idea you could collect up receipts, doh! Our local town centre sainsberries is a mecca for young office workers buying lunch, so could be rich pickings.

Particularly as Mr GTO couldn't grasp the whole saving nectar points thing. I got him a nectar card to use at bp stations. He drives a lot. Sometimes he did and sometimes he didn't. Last Friday night he said " I've used the nectar card a few times over the last few weeks, what do you use the points for?" Me: "easyjet flights, darling, that's how we are lucky enough to go away twice a year. It wouldn't happen otherwise". I think I can safely say that the thought of guaranteed sunshine was his LBM!

    Thank you.

Its free as in its cash back. You have to pay for things, then you upload your reciept and they award you the money straight into your account. Only catch is there is a minimumn level that you have to reach before you get a refund...

Last week I managed to womble £19.33 through APG! So, naturally, I went shopping and only ended up paying just over £2 for everything I got. So glad I FINALLY understand APG. I now plan to spend £0 a month on food and save the money instead :D

Wobbled three from ASD& today, £6.34 from price matches 64p, £1.20 and £4.50,

two receipts from Sainsberries nectar points, one was useless and one was £2.25 of £15 spend, expiry 03/04/15.

three receipts from Tesc@ (31 points) one was my own 12 points to add, 16 points and 3 points

I did spend £7 on 30 cans of diet coke so afraid today wasn't a SFD but still lucked out....

Wombled a 60 point and 44 point receipt from Sainsburys. Was getting a few things off the Shopitize list and got a £16 off a £60 online spend till spit with my change. Wondering whether ill be allowed to get some Amazon vouchers delivered using the discount and cashing in my Nectar points. I'd asked instore about doubling up for vouchers but the double up promotion isnt available on gift vouchers or groceries. I can but try!

Nice work all! Im adding another £10 to my wombling total today, as my MBNA rewards credit card has just paid me another £10 Argos voucher, which I plan to use to buy my son a new pair of school shoes. Their basic black pair has done us well from November to now, and only failing because the metal that the strap threads through snapped about a week ago. We've gone through Clarks shoes faster than that, so for £9.99 Im a fan!

Also wombled a nice 54 pointer from the self service till at Sains this morning...

£8.50 in tips today & 2p roadkill. Plus used a voucher for 60 extra points when buying some bath foam today so money for something I'd have bought anyway.
