Hi good evening all! I have a couple of good wombling to report over the last few days.

Sadly my iron died on me again 2 days vp before Christmas when I was tackling a mountain of ironing. I have a sneaky suspicion it isn't really dead. I think the fuse shorted to self protect when I tried to clean off the limescales. I couldn't persuade DH to change the fuse, as he reckons it's not safe. So off I went to the supermarket to find a replacement. Was already in the queue in Mr. A's but decided to have a look in Mr. S to benefit from nectar points. Found the same one in Mr. S £5 cheaper. Result! Then i decided to pay for another item I had, separately, first, with cash that I had in hand and pay for iron with my debit card. Pleasant surprise the machine spewed out a £1.50 off coupon which I used for the iron. Result again! In the end I saved £6.50 and earned nectar points too.

On Christmas Eve, I went to Mr. A to buy hair dye and use my £1.48 APG which was expiring on Christmas Day. They had a 2 for £10 deal on, (single purchase was £6.50) I only paid £8 for 2 dyes because of 2 APG coupons (1.48 and 56p) that I had, both of which where wombled a few weeks ago. That's a total savings £5.04.

I picked up some receipts in Mr. A but it made me lol because some of the items on the receipts were incontinent pads. Not that there's anything wrong with them, just made me laugh coz I'm not quite ready for them yet. Hahaha.

Has anyone else noticed the £100 draw/1p receipt upload to CoS has gone??

Got loads of YS fruit over the past two days in Asda and T - also found a receipt for 14 points left in the self service till I was using, so I'll add that on my next visit.

Needed new pillow, so using some of my Christmas money to get them - half price at Mr T and used quidco, so will get some cashback there :T

Also wombled £1 from OH where he keeps leaving his trousers lying around and whenever they're moved, coins fall out. I'm sick of putting them back in, so in the moneybox it went

I noticed that today too. Due to the hectic Christmas season I haven't had time to upload receipts and now I'm disappointed I can't upload the receipts I've been keeping in my bag. I hope they put it back soon.

DH came back home with lots of ys goodies including 12 cinnamon rolls that he bought for 30p and 3 loaves of bread for 5p each. He also bought 4 pint fresh milk and we got 25p cash back from shopitise.

I have scrambled around cupboards finding metal jars to use as sealed jars in challenges! Now all lined up in a row. How silly is it that I am getting excited to see how much will be there in time for Christmas next year?
I have also decided to try and not spend any vouchers I earn/win except for as presents. Man plans, the gods laugh!

Off to do two sets of car insurance quotes. Boring January job, but somehow seems to be less than half the price of last year! I paid over £900 last January in Salford, and it is well under £500 this year in Leicestershire.

Wombled 6 receipts from Mr T's today on the way out (the kids were knee sliding around picking up fallen receipts) Can't complain about messy people if it means 25 points for me! Plus the floors were much cleaner after the boys had shined them with their trousers.
