We use Baker & McKenzie as lawyers in the ME and JP Morgan as bankers. They will see you right if you're ligit.

SME AMEXs in Dubai or the ME in general are harder to acquire also you don't get a Platinum SME AMEX and the Personal Platinum isn't worth it when other cards from ADCB, Emirates NBD, NBAD offer Visa Infinite and MasterCard World Elite cards with much better benefits for both business and personal use.

My advice is that you either look at the options of credit cards available to you through business or personal that offer equal or better benefits than the AMEX Plat and apply for one of them. However if you do insist on going for an AMEX Plat, you can get one for personal use in Sweden or through the ICC.
