Sheils - Thanks, I hope so too! I'm 32 too, maybe you should do some MSE matchmaking, hahaha! :rotfl:
I haven't read the most recent Bridget Jones, I think I'll wait for the film!
Hope you have a lovely weekend away!
Leanfun - I know I should make more effort to go out and socialise, but sometimes I just can't be bothered, ha! Have a bit of anxiety too, so that doesn't help.
Hope you all have a lovely and lucky weekend!0 -
April DD1 didn't meet Husband from the groups she joined. She was about your age when she decided to split with second BF and was in quite a state. She, like a lot of us, finds walking and excersice helps her emotionally.
I like to go out walking by myself sometimes I'm not into groups and socialising much. It's like a sense of freedom and fresh air. When I worked and walked part of way there I often had my best ideas then.
Walking is definitely MSE no cost and many benifits. If you can do it it's great as many of us on here find it. Just a shame about weather but that will pick up again in a few weeks.
Take care April and just do what you can.0 -
Well I have just been ironing and can't stop smiling.
I've been remembering a walking experience years ago. A friend and I thought we would try a ramblers walk in Kent. We did go out walking to try to be fit before hand. On the day we met some very nice friendly people but as we 'raced' through beautiful orchards to catch up with them we thought this is not for us, I remember saying this is such wonderful scenery but we haven't got a sevond to take it in!
No walks here today. Cold and raining. Everyone going past looks frozen.0 -

Thanks April. Sorry he lives in Sydney now!
The Bridget Jones book and film are different I believe. The film sounds better than the book.

Fire**fly, you got me craving for rhubarb pie now. Funny thing is I've just realised I don't think my kids have ever tasted it!
Sheils, I'm sure April would love to visit Sidney!Hope your DS can find love soon.
April, my DH is never really romantic but he did ask me if I wanted to go out tonight but I'm like you, when it comes to it I can't be bothered and get too anxious about what to wear etc!
Hope you get out for a walk tomorrow leanfun and it's not too cold xx
Sylvia, hope your creams came today that you were waiting on.
I got some flowers delivered today.....unfortunately they were for a neighbour up the road and the delivery driver didn't want to take them back! I did get my robinsons glass delivered though
Thanks everyone for your well wishes for dad. :A xx
He came back home today after fluids as didn't want to stay in and was embarrassed by the sickness and diarrhoea effects of the chemo. He's usually very independent and proud! He fell today though because he has suddenly got blurred vision and severe headaches. We managed to get him back up and hopefully Macmillan will take over care when we can't to help mam out.
I got a bit excited earlier when I saw there was good news about my euro lottery ticket I bought online. I saw on FB that there was a UK winner of top prize so I quickly checked! I won £5.60Hopefully it's bought me a bigger amount for tonight's lottery!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0
