DH and I are going to a £29 Lancaster Premier Inn for Valentines!
We did get a good B&B offer at a Best Western Golf Hotel at Garstang for the Monday night though so will have dinner there too

Morning all,


Lovely sunny morning here. Not going to walk too far today as we have been over doing it a bit as it has been so nice. Hoping to do lots of canal walks on Sunday and Monday so save our energy!


Loved the first 2 Bridget Jones books and the films April. Have never got into the 3rd one although got it on Kindle. Hope you find Mr Right soon! Keep hoping DS1 finds his Miss Right soon too as he is 32 now and after a 7 year relationship ended he hasn't gone out with anyone for any length of time.

April our DD1 was by herself and going stir crazy after two breakups. She joined a walking group and tennis club and eventually met her husband. Now he will turn up with flowers.

I've just watched two squirrels chasing one another on neigbours trees.

Good morning all, feel better today after having an early night and a good sleep. Wet and windy here too and looks as if we may have had a bit of the white stuff during the night and its on some of the cars still.

Waiting in today as re-sheduled a parcel to come. Hope its the creams that we wom mid December that we have been chasing up.

Sounds like you have some lovely plans for Valentines day Sheils. Good new on the SATNAV that I havent used for years and couldn't seem to charge up, DD1 has took it and sorted it somehow and charged it up so going to see if we can download the new maps before getting another on. LOL at your DH talking to his, I do talk to mine too, especially when it doesn't go the quickest route!
