ff I love going there (sounds a bit macabre) but my parents were both wonderfull had a fab childhhod (unlike loads of other kids I know) we didn't have a lot when I was younger but in life you just have to strive for the best you can do and don't give up at the first hurdle. Glad I saw jambos post as well.

don't think it sounds macabre at all rose,
I used to love to visit my dad's & often sat for a while,
agree with you about doing the best we can x
I read as well about rinsing hair in vinegar for a nice shine
but wouldn't fancy it tbh lol,
I use rosemary every now & then & it does leave your
    hair with a lovely shine,
was my grandma years ago taught me that one,
just read up they've found other
beneficial uses for hair with it as well,

thankyou ff will click on to link later. my mum dad and sister are all there have never left them. Do not think about them every day now but in the back of my mind they are always there even after all these years. Sis was only 45 and left 3 kids but she was always on self distruct button in her life. Never listenened to anyone she was always right. I get angry at times with her because of that. Sorry hon just venting because of today
